Someone just told me the reason that everyone thinks I'm a smart person, they say it's because I use big words and I sound smart when I'm explaining things, and stuff.
Is it possible to talk smart?
Because everyone says that's how I talk.

I get that too! People think I'm so smart (which I suppose I am), but they say that sometimes I have to explain things a bit "dumber" for them to understand... maybe the world just doesn't favor big vocabularies ;3

I was born and raised in lovely West Virginia, so in videotapes I hear myself with this stupid hillbilly accent... I don't hear myself talk that way in real life but I'm sure I've got more than enough southern twang in me. At least I use proper grammar. My grandmother says "I ain't got no geetar fur ya." So does my mother. Gee-tar... GUITAR! And Deetroit... it's neverending... lol

I don't determine one's intelligence based on their vocabulary. Anyone can learn a big word.

Me, I talk the way I type and vice versa.

I also talk the way I type.
I don't try to impress petty humans with 'big words.' Haha, that sounded harsh, but I honestly can't be someone other than myself.
And myself is weird.
So, you know...

I speak the queens English with a telltale home counties twang - imagine a female Hugh Grant!

I jest, of course!

Speaking of accents...

I moved down to Tennessee to live with my aunt last winter (was there for 3 months) and I still can't get away from the accent! I was born and raised in Ohio and I've had a northern accent all my life so I don't see how 3 months of living in the south can get me a southern one. My aunt doesn't seem to have a problem. She's lived there for almost 10 years and she still talks just fine. I had to watch myself around everyone (especially after I got home) so that I wouldn't slip otherwise I would have been the laughingstock of the room! They never would have let me live it down...
