Re: Writers Central
i love writing and my mother has been pushing to become an illustrator since i was in elementary school because i have always had a very vivid imagination and an eye for detail.
i actually started this story a while ago, me and one of my good friends work as a team.
she's in school to become a director, and i like to write so we kind of feed off each other.
but i haven't had much time to write what with trying to keep up a 4.0 in school, bowling, trying to keep my social life alive, sleeping and eating, and on top of that i work 35-40 hours a week (i only go to school 2 and a half hours so i can work from noon on).
anyway, back on topic haha.
the problem with this story i started is that before i started writing, i had everything planned out.
i know what my characters are like and how they would react to things,
but the more i write the more i feel like changing the plot.
i feel like it doesn't fit any more.
but. i have no idea how to tweak it.
sklfj.
writers block.

Re: Writers Central
So, the NaNo site & forums are up and running again!
How about we share our pages, then we can encourage/nag each other, and see what progress other people are making?
Are taking part this year?
What's the link to your page?
Will you keep us up to date with your progress?
I'll go first.
Yes, I'm taking part.
Here's my page: dragon-girl
Yes, I will. Even if I'm doing terrible at keeping up.

Re: Writers Central
I've written poetry and I put two of them on my myspace. I'm also in the process of writing, I don't know what to call it, a novel, a short story? I have all the characters mapped out and the plot and setting. I jsut gotta get it down on paper.
"Did you know, you're sort of beautiful?"
"You hit your head pretty hard, didn't you?"
Re: Writers Central
haha i've only written one poem, they aren't my specialty.
it's about anonymous sex hahahaha.
i was a virgin when i wrote it.
but even now, i've never had anonymous sex.
i posted it in a blog on my myspace and everyone liked it, though hahah.

Re: Writers Central
I write too, well, I try. I'm in the middle of an atempt to try and write a novel. I've start many before, written some short stories. Actually I'm writing constantly.
I also write cd and concert reviews for an online music magazine (voluntarly).
This is all in dutch, so that'll explain why my english ain't perfect even when being a writer
I thought to say hi, writing a novel (trying to write one) is so hard, you really run against yourself so many times. But it's also enlighting and inspiring to do. I had the idea for my specific story about 6 years ago and tried some times before to write it but I failed miserable. I think I'm on the right track now. Just need to keep going and then maybe I finish in 2020. :p

Re: Writers Central
After hitting my 50k mark last year in the final 48 hours, I vowed that I would NEVER do another NaNo. It’s just too darn draining!
…buuuuut since I’ve made myself (and my wounded checking account) a stern promise that I will not be flying anywhere too see a certain trio of Oklahomian dweebs, that I’m saving my fangirlness for RockBoat in January, it seems I’m going to need SOMETHING to take up my November. There’s nothing quite like that final NaNo push on Thanksgiving complete with pie, right? It seems I’m in.
God help me, I’ve lost it lol.
Looks like it's Babynamer.com time.

If you look at the top of this page, and at most of the previous page, you'll see that some of us have been discussing this, and posted links to our pages.
Are you? What's your username there?
