Wow, our thread was 3 pages deep into the titles! I stopped getting email reminders, so I went searching. I hope everyone is having a good week. We got storms here in my part of Texas early this morning, and it's kind of dreary outside.

BTW- I just LOVE the new look of the Lex!! Very cool indeed! :P

Hi,

Can I join in? I'm a "thirty-somthing." :-) Storms in Texas? Bummer. I'm a teacher on spring break this week in Minnesota and we got snow yesterday. :-( Yes, the new look is awesome!!

WELCOME JULIE!

I was just saying this morning that I hope we don't get anymore snow. I'm over on the east coast. It's been raining and cold as of late. Oh well... eventually spring will arrive.

Thanks for the welcome!

Spring definitely needs to arrive now! Then summer, then November! ;-) J/K I don't really want to wish time away.

Welcome Julie!!! Glad you found our little "adult" hideaway!

It is Spring here in California, however our high today is 75 and tomorrow will be 67 - low front coming.

I thought the lex was pretty before, now it's stunningly beautiful! I love this new layout! And I'm thrilled it's still purple!

Yeah! Women my age!
Glad to have found this thread.
My name is Heather and I am from Chicago, where thankfully, the nasty 6 inches of snow from Sunday has melted.

Yay, Newbies! Welcome, Julie and Heather!! I hope you enjoy our little corner of the world! We have lots of fun on here.

Well, so much for those storms I spoke of this morning. The wind literally blew them east. The sun is shining, and it's a beautiful day...just really windy. I'm off to go grocery shopping!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! So, what's going on today? I'm headed out to get my taxes done then going to see Adventureland. It looks pretty funny. I loved the 80's. :-)

Welcome Heather!

I need to pick up my taxes, sign them, write a check to the state (*sigh*) and then mail it. I hope to do nothing tonight but spend time at home with hubby.

Any big plans this weekend anyone?

I'm finally able to come back here since................................I am a Ph.D in English and Postcolonial Literature!!!!!! Wooooooo-oooooooh!! It's such a relief. The defence seemed to be endless. I'm so tired I can't even find the right words to post

Welcome to all the new-comers. I hope we'll be able to take this thread back to its old days. I'll do my best now that I have a lot of time to spend on the computer 8-)

I hope everybody is doing well. I am, at the moment :D
