I don't really like the smell of wet dirt... but I like the smell of gasoline and cigarette smoke XD.

Seriously now, I've never noticed it!

Freshness. It's like the smell of the world has been wiped away and now everything starts over from scratch. The rain itself doesn't have a smell, but it's the smell afterward that I associate with it. Just smells clean. It smells like you're camping in a forest and everything is untouched by the polluted human existance.

I think the rain itself does have a smell.

It has been raining since friday and I think I'm going crazy.
I may now understand how Bella felt when she first arrived at Forks.

I wish it would rain here... All I got was snow... at least it was an ideal condition for a snow ball fight.

It's starting to get warmer! It got to about 40 today ^.^
The snow is melting. Yay! Though I expect we'll get another snowfall before winter is over = /

It was really nice today though. All rainy and foggy. Aahh. I love it.

I was looking at a picture of the desert the other day and I was thinking about how out-of-place and depressed I would feel if I were there. I need rain and green to be happy. That's why I would love to move to either England or Ireland. I can't stand the idea of constant heat and sunshine.

I'd so go with you. Those are two places I desperately want to visit -- my heritage. But I can't say as though it's getting warmer here. It snowed the other day. It's been strange weather here. It's been in the nice, cloudy, nice, cloudy, nice, cloudy pattern now. So, I'm taking bets on whether it's nice or not tomorrow.

I wish it would just pour down rain, loud on the roof with some thunder and lightning and I'd be such a happy camper.

Rain is great. So often you can go through rainless days and then you get one and it just changes everything. It's like a relaxent. Calming, soothing, and you can see more green. It's best when it's super heavy downpouring...haha, I just remembered I created a comicbook character called Downpour years ago that was based in Seattle because then I thought that was the rainiest place in the continental US. Never got anywhere really with it though. But how ironic that other story characters would take refuge in the actual rainiest place in the states and here I am, entrenched in the story.

Rain is great. It means renewal to me. I mean, yeah, it also causes flooding in the winter here in Washington, but when it's not winter...

*sighs* I miss western Washington so badly. I'm supposed to go on vacation in May, maybe on the way down to Oregon I can convince my friend to take a drive through western WA so I can just get a hint of the rain.
