i love the rain.... everything about it.
i love biking through cold rain... the way it pings into your face when its freezing cold.... i love that!
and when you are trying to sleep (oooo i should go to bed soon.....) and there is a thunderstorm.... thats ALWAYS the best way to fall asleep.... listening to the rain hit the roof.............

This may sound weird, but I love the smell of rain on hot concrete. It doesn't last very long. Sadly it doesn't happen much in autumn/winter.
Rain has different smells depending on what the weather was like before it started raining, or at least it does down here...

I think I'd probably appreciate the rain more i ti didn;t cramp my style as much!

I actually think it quite calming in moderation. Too much rain is just icky, though.

Today it was pouring non stop. And I had to walk home from school. It was fun... But I was all soaked when I walked into my house. My mom joked that it looked like I jumped into a pool with all of my clothes on.

I don't know why people don't like the rain...or why people think its depressing. I love the rain. i always have a better day when it rains and if there is a thunderstorm I have a great day. I will actually grab my mp3 player and go out in the rain for hours just listening to music and getting drenched from head to toe. The weird thing is that my doctor says my body is so used to the rain that that's the reason I rarely ever get sick.
