Canadian thread eh?

Post by Pel »

So.....I just thought there should be one for the few Canadians here. Not complaining; this is an american site afterall...

Just remembered come across a few Canadians on this site....that's all.

So, WHO'S FROM MAPLE SYRUP LAND?? <--that's what I call CND. Yepp. Or Hockey Land. Or, rather, Maple Syrup/Hockey Land........

And have any of you non-Canadians been to anywhere in this great country I hail from??

I'm Canadian. I live about an hour away from Edmonton, Alberta. I don't know why Pel calls Canada those things, seeming as I like neither. I have never been to the States, even though I'm 13 and only live 5 hours from the border. I am going to Duck Lake and Flathead Lake for camping next summer. My grandma has a cabin in Duck Lake, Montana and I have tons of friends in Spokane and Kalispell. My dad's aunt and uncle and cousins all live in Denver, Colorado.
I'm also Mormon. I enjoy music and writing. Reading is my passion. Name a book and I can tell you what I though about it. I'm the oldest of 3 kids and have 2 younger brothers.

I'm from Canada!!!!
I live in British Columbia.
So I live super close to the border.

I go down to the states often.
I like it there very very much.
Maybe I should move.

Canadian here,
From the Maritimes or more as of the Atlantic provinces though I do live close to the border, so I constantly visit the States, I'm always missing New York City/Boston ... the shopping is fantastic ;)

Oh but defiantly excited for the winter Olympics in 2010 coming here, were not much of summer oylimicans (see medal count), though either way everyone is doing a wonderful job and wish the best luck to all. Beijing finishes sometime Monday or Sunday is it? I would die to travel there, so scenic.
Edit// If anybody is curious, I was 'neonsx' back then.

I wish I was Canadian.
*tear*
But Elaine said she adopted me, sooooo. Lol.

^ Oh yes! The winter olympics!
I'm sooo going there and sleep at Elaine's house, then we're gonna pick up Malaz.
Oh yeaaaaa.

And I learned a lot of things about Canada, thanks to Malaz.
Oh jeez, here come my embarassing moments... lol.

Anyone on this thread familiar with Cape Breton, Nova Scotia? That's pretty much my favorite part of Canada. All the fiddle music!

I am. My grade 7 L.A. teacher was from there and it was a big part of our Social Studies theme this year. I love the fiddle music from there and some of them speak interesting. My teacher said some words really oddly. It was so cool. She taught us her way and we taught her ours.
