Androphobia- Fear of men. I wonder what the people do all day, stay in their house to avoid men?

I have arachnophobia! Spiders are the bane of my existing! The chapter about Aragog in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was the WORST chapter ever for me!!!

Achluophobia - Fear of darkness
Aeroacrophobia- Fear of open high places
Agliophobia- Fear of pain
Anginophobia- Fear of angina, choking or narrowness
Apiphobia- Fear of bees
Arachnophobia- Fear of spiders
Asthenophobia- Fear of fainting or weakness
Athazagoraphobia- Fear of being forgotten or ignored or forgetting

Yeah...I'm not even going to bother to read that entire list. This post would probably be way too long.

Actually, I have the Androphobia one. Sort of. I mean, whenever a boy remotely close to me in age gets near me, I literally have a panic attack.

It's... troublesome. It only seems to flare up in social situasions, as far as business situations goes, it doesn't seem to be an issue. But it makes dating *really* hard.

As in, I'm a reasonably attractive, 20-year-old college student who dances in her spare time, and I've never been on a date, much less been kissed.

Yeah. Problems.

Maybe I should see someone about that.

How do y'all deal with any phobias you have?

So here is my list of phobia's

Tonitrophobia- Fear of thunder (Yes thunder)
Cancerophobia or Carcinophobia- Fear of cancer.
Hoplophobia- Fear of firearms. ( I can see them in pic or movies but that's it)

Arsonphobia- Fear of fire. I've ALWAYS been fearful of having my house burn down. (I've grown out of it now. When I was little, the Fire Safety Day demos at school would give me nightmares...)

Astraphobia- Fear of Thunder AND Lightning. It's not severe, but enough to keep me up during a typical summer-night thunderstorm that everybody else would sleep right on through.

I don't know if they have a phobia for this, but I do have trouble looking people in the eyes. It's just hard, let alone very scary. I'll be talking to somebody, I try to look in their eyes, and I mentally freak and then I find my eyes looking at the floor.

Luna, I kind of have something like that, but it's just that I'm exceptionally shy around guys. I'm usually okay in formal and polite situations with both genders, and most of the time, I can smile, and shake a girl's hand, nice-to-meet-you, before I become reclusive in the corner, but with guys, in that casual situation, I cannot look them in the eyes, I tense up and become insanely neurotic. So I kind of understand, a little bit, at least.
