Simple Pleasures

Ripping the plastic from a new cd, open it, put the cd up straight in the box.
Being in a good cd store and actually find albums of artists I love and don't have to ship them in.
Being in a bookstore (for hours, and hours and hours) checkin out books and reading the back.
Drinking hot choco in the sofa, all rapped up in a blanket.
Watching dirty dancing with best friend, with strawberry's and white wine.
Watching doctor Zhivago (the 4 hours and a half version) with hot choco and cookies.
Writing all day long.
Laying in bed till 5am reading an amazing good book when you peacefully hear the raindrups fall on the roof.
Walking along the coastline for hours and hours with my ipod daydreaming
Daydreaming

Lieing on the beach or in a forest with your eyes closed, thinking about nothing in particular.
Sitting at the computer all day long and NOT feeling like its a day that has been wasted.
Reading a good book by the Christmas tree with Christmas music on.
Walking past someone and seeing a smile.
Writing with a purple pen.
Feeling the new marker scroll across a white board.
The feeling that nothing bad is going on. Its only you and your happiness.

- Clicking on 'Compile' during programming class and not getting any errors. (Rarely happens to me though.)
- Opening my e-mailaccount and seeing e-mails from my friends.
- Entering an (almost) empty bus to go to school.
- Watching snow fall.
- When it has snowed a lot already and the sun breaks through the clouds. => I love how the sun reflects on the snow.
- Skiing.
- New Year, you know, that ONE moment in between two years. Right before my cell phone starts freaking out and drunk people are trying to hug and kiss me.
- Opening a book for the first time.
- Getting a PM on a forum/message on MySpace.
- Finding something you're passionate about

- that pair of pants that feels like an extra skin

- the many moments i think to myself "i dont care what anyone else thinks" its a real good feeling.

- when its the morning and your getting ready to leave and it is freezing cold, and you are real tired and then you remember its saturday.
- singing at the top of my lungs, even though i know it sounds like a cat dying.
- my sister telling me i am her best friend and knowing her like no one else does.
- watching my nephew grow up...it is seriously amazing, like today he found out where his ears are. you just say "Jayden, wheres you ears?" and he touches them its like undescribable somehow. and how he dances right on cue when you say "Are you dancin?" gahh. i am a proud aunt, what can i say?

Knowing I have nothing at all to do when I get up in the morning the day is mine to do as I please.
