my mom is where i got my love of vampires from we used to watch dark shadows together and then i got her hooked on twilight

my dad doesnt get it tho

My mom thinks it's weird... secretly. But she doesn't say anything, she's too polite for that. I think she thinks it kinda awkward is because I''m not like all black clothed and gothic--like the vamp lovers usually ear in her mind. lol

When I first said 'Vampire Books' she just gave me an odd look. But when I told her the story she gave me an odder look, laughed and said 'I'd rather not know'

At first, my mom just thought it was kind of stupid, but didn't really have a problem with it...then when she read them, she loved them! But my dad...he refuses to read them. He watches vampire movies and stuff, he's just not a reader...especially of "girl books", he says.

yea my dad doesnt really agree with my vampire/werewolve obessession....not to get off the topic but my co workers think its funny that "a good, christian girl like me" likes all this supernatural stuff

my parents thought that i was crazy or just going thru a vampire loving phase. but now they are okay wit it, they are always saying that i read the TW series too much and that i need to get over it. but I think not. twilight is going to stay with me for eternity!!

My dad is clueless about what Twilight is even about. My mom wants to read them but I'm selfish so I'm not letting her.

my parents aren't aware of my obsession. My mom knows i love to read the books with 'the apple and hands" allll the time, haha. We're going to see the movie together though. My parents don't mind vampires at all though or any other mythical creature so i am good.
I'd like to say they could care less what i am reading about hehe!!

Well, my mom doesn't really care. She thinks it's normal to have a fave book/ character. She cautions me not to take it too seriously though.

My dad is just clueless. ^_^
