1 more day until Niko's book!

I know that you can sign up to read the first 4 chapters of Nikko's book, but that's just torture and a tease when you don't have the whole book. That is the only reason why I haven't signed up yet or even ventured out to read reviews in case of spoilers.

CG: You do make an excellent point.

At this point (ick..I need a thesaurus) I may as well wait for the book.

I think I may need to wait a couple of days to get Niko's book from the library. I just checked my local library and a few of our neighboring libraries have the book on order. I may have to read it in the middle of Jan, which means I'll have to avoid this thread in the meantime.

Since this thread is on the third page, I thought I'd double check. Are we doing a two or three week moratorium on Niko's book? It came out Dec. 30th...shall we wait until Jan. 13 or 20th until we do spoiler-esque discussions? Or do we need to give more time than that?

Jan 13th is good. 2 weeks is plenty of time.

I forgot how much I love the Breed and the Breedmates.

Me too GNE! I am still in the middle of Niko and it's coming along nicely. I was very happy to see Andreas in this book as well. He is so sexy

I'm gonna spoil or discuss Niko's book other than to say: IT ROCKED!!!!

Nena & I were chatting other about how we envisioned Renata. She said Kate Beckinsale is who she had in her mind. That clicked something in my head. I watched Doomsday while reading Niko the other day, and the female lead in Doomsday is Rhona Mitra. Rhona Mitra is starring in the new Underworld movie - Rise of the Lycans. She's also a dead ringer for Kate Beckinsale in the trailer and movie poster.

Rhona as Renata

Rhona kicking booty Check out the word in the lower right-hand corner. Hahaha.

Peaking around the corner

Very nice choice, GNE! She is close to what I envisioned in my head from the previews I've read. I have two library books to read and then I'm diving into Niko! Oh...Must force myself to read uninteresting story faster!

This is NOT a double post.

Tomorrow we may be able to discuss Niko's book. I have less than sixty pages to finish and it's just SO great!!! Curses, I'll be out of the office at a meeting, but I wanted to pop in and verify if we'll be discussing it tomorrow??

Has everyone had a chance to pick it up, let alone read it, besides GNE and myself?
