I have a few books on the go:-

1. Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness the 2nd in the Discovery of Witches trilogy
2. Forever by Maggie Stiefvater the final book to Shiver and Linger
3. Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick the 3rd book in the hush, hush sequence

Finished The Host, then read Full Scoop by Janet Evanovich, and now have moved on to Hero at Large by Janet Evanovich.

Songbird, how did you find The Host? I brought it and read the first couple of chapters but couldn't get into it... I have been meaning to retry so maybe that should be my next book

I LOVE it!! The writing is better than Twilight, I think. It does start off really slow. The first few chapters are somewhat confusing because you aren't familiar with the situation or the lingo used, but once you get into it further, it draws you in...about the time Wanderer drives to Arizona, it starts to pick up, if that helps. If you didn't make it that far last time, I'd give it another try. It's one of my favorites...this was my 2nd reading and there was so much more that I understood this time around. I'll definitely read it again.

It is really hard to get into. Once you get a few chapters & start understanding what's going on it's easier to read. It was easier & more fun to read my second time around because I actually understood what was going on. I say give it another try if you can.

I'm readying Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.
