I, too, like Full Moon Baking!

I've read Rachelle's statement and Summit's. What's that saying? There are always three sides to a story...Summit's side, Rachelle's side, and somewhere in the middle is the truth? I have a hard time believing, as some of you mentioned, that Rachelle would willing walk away from Eclipse. She's said to the media several times how much she loves playing the part and I know I've read her mention being excited to get more screen time in Eclipse. I think she honestly believed Summit would allow her the 10 day overlap. I'm surprised Summit didn't work with her to sort it out and just recast the role. I'd think they wouldn't want to upset fans by recasting the role. Although I doubt it will make as large an impact as if a Cullen or Jacob was recast...I still think people tend to not like changes in actors. I definitely won't stop watching the movies, and I probably will enjoy it just as much as I would have if it were Rachelle playing the role, but I know it'll be off a little tiny bit with a different person in the role.

I was just going to post... There is now "Summit's" side of the story (released last night?) Anyhow... It seems like Summit was just going to let things blow over and now b/c of Rachelle's comments, they feel they need to defend their decision. Whatever! I just want to see good movies... I feel bad that it didn't work out, but just get on with the movie making!

I agree, somewhere in the middle is the truth. It's still sad, but I hope they stop fighting. Shame, hopefully no one else will have to be recast. I still am excited to see New Moon.

Hope all the Twi-Cons are having fun!!

Above is a link to the photo.

I will have to edit my post and add my thoughts later. Dropping off my 11 year old at the library to watch a movie for the "teen summer program". I am not sure how I feel about dropping her off and letting her do her own thing. Agh!

I saw the picture, I liked it. To me they look pretty good, capturing the essence of each character. Now the question is, can they act and BE the characters I see in my head. I hope they are at least close enough.

I wasn't overly "pleased" with the photos b/c they don't look like I imagined - No papery skin for the "elders" and the twins are not young enough. BUT with that said, I think that acting and special effects (if any) can make up the "difference" between my mind and the actors images.

I agree, the twins are far too old and not much like cherubs. I really wanted the papery skin too (I kind of think of it as the outside of a white onion), but maybe they will add that later. The three elders do look totally evil, though, VERY vampiric.

I'm going to chime in quickly before I lose my power (I don't know if it's gunshots going off outside my house, more thunder & lightning or squirrels blowing up in the transformers--i'm tempted to think it's the latter two, I live in a relatively quiet suburban neighbourhood)

Full-moon Baking sounds good to me.

I am heartbroken over the loss of my home and native land girl Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria because she is EXACTLY the Victoria I imagined and I just don't buy that she would jeopardize her role in Twilight on purpose. I just saw an interview with her on EW.com the other day from Comic Con and she couldn't stop talking about how much she loves the Twilight Saga.

I hope everyone's having fun at TwiCon!! :)
