Just dropping by for a quick mopey ego post.

Last night my mommy-group had a "date night", no kids, cheese and whatever the preferred drink was. I spent as much time as I could yesterday cleaning up (because pup makes it a challenge I tell you) and was really stoked because we would be going out afterwards, and I'm in dire need of some dancing...
Yeah right. It started out OK, me and another mom went to a pub and had some really nice grilled burgers (we were a bit short of time, and their burgers are always a safe bet) and talked and had fun. Another mom joined us there, though she had ate at home. When we left we were all just giggly and stuff, you could probably hear us over half the town, but the mood was high. And then, somehow it all fell flat, before 9pm just about everyone had said how they were tired, how they never could stay awake after 10pm and so and so....
And I mean, CRAP! I have a pup that don't sleep all that great as well, but I still was set on getting my dance on. But you know, it's not that much fun rocking it alone. The mom who I had dinner with was also set on dancing, but when she was offered a ride home, around 11, I told her to take it, I mean, how much fun would the two of us really have? Why would end up in a corner feeling old.
And the worst part was, it left this sad and disappointed feeling in my gut, that I lost all party-feeling when they just moped of. And it felt (and still fells) like all that cleaning and prepping was a waste of time.

Ohh Ninna I'm sorry. That really stinks. I know how you feel though that has happened to me several times. Next time you girls should plan on going out earlier and then that way once 9 rolls around you will all be tired.

So my life has been pretty boring lol. I love lazy weekends. I started reading The Hunger Games and I am very, very into it. Can't wait to finish to see what happens!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Lily, I love the Hunger Games!

Jen, Sry about your dog :(

Ninna, That happens all the time to me, too! When parents get away for "fun" we usually start feeling those long days and nights and the "fun" starts to become, "Gee how fun would it be to go to bed early and not be interrupted? How fun would it be to go to dinner and not have to cut anyone elses food?" LOL...*hugs*

yeah, thing is, the clubs don't even open until 9,, and then nothing happens. If you go out before midnight here, you're out early... It's crazy I tell you. It was so crappy 'cos when one girl said she was getting fat and her baby would become a big brother in the fall, it seemed like everyone else felt they were entitled to go home early as well (still, she was the last to leave...)

An Irish Wish for all of my Lexlings:

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

Happy St. Paddy's Day Everyone!!!!!!

Dragons are pretty, and this one is green
on cookies and candy it's especially keen
The Irish they love, their green bubbling beer
this dragon would rater, eat a raw deer
With her nose in wrinkles, like Leah in the book
she's hoping to find a werewolf that can cook
A certain D, a ring on her talon snook
and with pup as bait, has her on his hook
Her rhyming is bad, and it gets even worse
when she tries to celebrate, with words on verse

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!
