Oh, yay! I couldn't believe it when I didn't find a thread for this series! Richelle Mead's series is my absolute favorite, even more than Twilight, which is kinda crazy for me.

For anyone who hasn't read this series, I absolutely recommend it! I've never heard of or met anyone who's read this series and hasn't liked it!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this series. The dialogue is so clever, and Rose is such a strong character. She comes off a bit arrogant at first, yes, but I dare you not to at least kinda heart her after reading all four books that are out.

Don't you just love book-dreams? I had one last night, about Vampire Academy of course. More specifically, it was about the Last Sacrifice.

Rose is a very strong female. She's sometimes rude, but she makes a lot of mistakes, and there's something human about her that many authors don't quite get. Kinda like how in those animated movies, human eyes are SO CLOSE but there's still something off about them.

Anyone have any theories? Because I had one, and then I decided to type it up, and it turned out to be 13 pages.....

Only 10 more days to go, (the perfect amout of time to go run to your local bookstore and read the first four books!!!!), but Penguin Australia has been releasing quotes every three days for Spirit Bound:

Wow, I'm surprised more people haven't posted in this thread. This series is awesome, and there is a new book coming out tomorrow! For those who haven't read any of the VA series, I would highly recommend reading it

Teaser 1 is most likely Victor Dashkov

The second one is tricky, I think, because Rose is usually the one to have death following her around, but the books are in the first person, and the quote was "a voice inside her" which makes me think it's Lissa. After all, are there any other female characters with small voices in themselves that Rose could hear? Unless they're reading from a book or something...

#3: Eternity? Dimitri. About to go all "kill!" on his Roza

The fourth, for some reason, sounds cheeky to me, which makes me think Adrian, or maybe Christian.

Fifth is directed towards anyone Rose would bother going after, said by someone who would want her. Dimitri or other Strigoi? Unless it's meant lightheartedly, in which case, Adrian.

There are too many couples and rocky relationships to decide the Sixth, maybe Christian (I'm hoping it's Christian because that'd mean we get more of him in the next book.)

Awww, number 7 sounds sweet, I'll say it's Rose to Lissa, because I love their friendship.

Bonus: Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadness, pretty much everyone in this book series has enough snark and angst to say it.

I'm staying home tomorrow so that I can read it I adore this series, and I couldn't believe it when no one was posting on here!!! The series is great, and I am crazy excited for tomorrow!

Apparently, Spirit Bound was accidentally released early in a few places in Canada, and I've heard nothing but amazing reviews! You can watch Richelle Mead reading a small part (not really a spoiler) Well, I guess it is a spoiler, but really it makes you think about what might happen, and it doesn't give away the plot or anything like that.

OMG!!! I just finished Spirit Bound and it was FANTASTIC! Everything that I wanted to happen, did happen, and there were SO MANY twists and turns and I can't wait 7 months until the Last Sacrifice!!!

AMAZING!!!!!

Started off kind of slow, then picked up speed VERY QUICKLY and is now my favorite in the series. As some girl on facebook said: If my house catches on fire, and I can only pick up 5 things, I'm going to get my VA books!

Love. This book is so much more political, though we still get to see Rose kick ass (One of my favorite things about her is she can defend herself, something not seen in nearly every other YA heroine.) I can't say it's my favorite in the series, mainly because she was a wee bit whiny and wouldn't let Eddie kill Dimitri.

Speaking of which, OMG I FINALLY GOT SOME PROPER EDDIE APPRECIATION! Seriously, I love that boy. A lot. And now I have a physical description to make graphics off of. SCORE!

I'm marginally annoyed that every member of the Dragomir family was secretly a bastard. It's bad enough that Andre did that to Mia, but Lissa's dad, too? Do you think we've already met her sibling? And does the fact that her situation mirrors Victor Dashkov's mean anything?
