Just finished
Shadow Kiss. ::
fangirl scream:: I kind of spoiled it for myself but I still didn't want to read about Dimitri like that. Heart.Broken! They finally did "
THE DEED" Lol. It was perfect. Rose is 100 different types of awesome. She's so strong. I probably would have jumped off of the roof if I had to go through all of that in one day. I love how Dimitri gave in but was still careful with everything. I'd give anything to read just a paragraph from his perspective.
I'm a bit torn with Adrian. I like him. I can't help but to like him. I hate to see people get hurt and end up virtually alone. I feel like theres still more to him. I'm glad he helped Rose, but Rose was unfair to put him in that position.
Lissa still annoys me. I don't feel like she selfish and mean intentionally but I feel like she doesn't step outside of her own mind too often. I understand that she's compassionate for others but that just comes along with the spirit magic. If she didn't have that I don't think she'd know how to be too compassionate at all. She made me want to punch her at then end when she asked Rose if she loved Dimitri more than she loved her. Yes, I get that Rose never relayed to her everything that was going on between them, but still, she has to at some degree realize Rose has done almost
EVERYTHING for Lissa. How could a question like that even form on her lips? Granted, they share a different type of love, but I feel like Lissa was ay out of line and extremely mean.
Janine, I love her being there at the end for Rose. I know they aren't close but I wish she would have talked about what happened with Rose and Dimitri.
I know Rose has the theory that Jesse and his band of idiots weakened the schools wards by using their magic in a negative manner, but through the entire time of them trying to figure out what happened, I had this whole other theory in my head. To be honest I was a bit upset that I wasn't right. Lol. Keep in my mind I'm only on the 4th book so from this perspective, this is what I had in mind. I thought that maybe Rose herself was weakening the wards by coming and going through them. The wards are supposed to keep out the dead right? Well, Rose is shadow-kissed. Technically she's not dead but she
WAS dead. I may be off but, it was only my brief theory.
I don't know if I somehow skipped what happened, but why exactly did Mia leave St. Vlad's? I know her mom died but was it necessary for her to change schools? Did she just feel like she needed to be closer to her father?
I'm a stickler for unexpected friendships. I really wanted to see Rose and Christian have a goodbye speech when she left at the end. The one with Lissa was needed but I would have felt better if Christian was there to crack a joke or 2.
Poor Eddie. How much must he really go though?
In all I really liked
Shadow Kiss and I plan on starting
Blood Promise tonight.
