Would it help to tell that the "old Vulcan proverb" is being quoted by a character who is a Vulcan?

It's just a bit sad when a Star Trek quote can stump people :) That was from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

Twilight . A little to easy but I am not complaining since I can never figure out the quotes. I will post one later. I have to grab a dvd since I can never remember quotes.
