I'm reading Terrier, then Tris's Book... I forgot how much I loved Beka. and TP.

Haven't read Sonnet Lacewing yet. I will in a moment.

I think you can look them up in a search box they have. I've used it before.

Have you ever got into a reading coma? Where you tune anything and everything out, and when you're done you talk like the people in the book do? Sometimes I almost say the Gods' names from TP's books.

I swear by the immortal and ridiculously powerful beings of other books all the time, Hannah! Haven't you ever noticed Lid yelling weird exclamations, like "By the Light!" or something? My friends and I have an entire set of vocabulary we use that we've stolen from various books and movies we both adore.
Though none from TP- her gods (with the exception of the Trickster) simply aren't as cool as some of the other ones I've met.

I totally use slang from my favorite books and movies and tv shows in everyday life. And I swear by The Trickster and by Shakith all the time. I have also called people bleatbrained and cracknobbed. I say gorram and frell and frak and darvit all the time. When I was little I used to exclaim "By The Power of Grayskull!"

I have gone into book comas, I'll start reading at like 2 in the afternoon and the next thing I know the book is over and my alarm clock is going off for me to head to work.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I always exclaim "Goddess!" then "Uhm, I mean, goodness!" One time I said "Mithros, Mynoss (sp?) and Shakith!"

I like Gadriel, the god of dreams, personally. He always intrigued me.

I read almost all day today, finished my book, look at my mom, said "Mommy... I'm done! It's... over!" frowned, and got my next book. (book number one being Terrier, book number two being Tris's Book)

Have you ever realized how much Aly and Beka are similar? The one most prominent detail (for me) is the fact that Aly wants to be like Lady what'sherface, the one that's Mequan's aunt, I believe, and Beka wants to be like Clary Goodwin. Those two people are strong, independent, and confident women. similar, too.

Don't forget that they both talk to birds and they were both raised to be proper young ladies and then took jobs that were considered beneath them.

OH! And they are both in the service of a particular god (not the same one, I don't think the universe could handle it)

It's like they're related or something!
Actually, they're two of my three favourites. Kel being my other.

But they are related. Bekka is Aly's great-great-great-great-grandmother or something. Well she's George's ancestress anyway.

Oh wait, was that a funny? I like Kel ok, but she's not myfavorite. Daine has always been my favorite, I love her story, I somewhat identify with her childhood, I dig her personality, and her magic is the kind I want most out of all of TP's characters.

 Yes, that was a funny. Beka is Aly's seventh great-grandma. 'Cause Beka's George's sixth, according to the book.

Daine would be my fourth. I just love Beka and Aly's independence and how they don't rely on magic and use their wits. I agree, though, I would like Daine's magic over all else.

Oh, and, I read "Good Advice" by Sonnet Lacewing. It's hilarious. I can't stop smiling.

Oh that's a good one. Do you know if she's posted anything else since her original trilogy got accepted?

She used to talk about agents and publishing companies in her profile but I haven't gotten any alerts from her in a while

I'm not sure. *thinks* Although I'd see why a publisher would like her. It's good. Numair reminds me of a toddler in some ways. It's quite funny.

Do you mean her Enemies, Maelstorm, Taken trilogy? 'cause she has lots.
