I'm not the BIGGEST fan of heavy metal but I do quite like it, but please forgive me if I mention any bands that aren't heavy metal.

I like System of a Down, Killswitch engage, Disturbed, and I forget the others - there's probably loads I like ~i just didn't realise they're metal

My boyfriend and brother are metal fans and they're fans of stuff like Bullet for my valentine, Disterbed, Pantera, SOAD, Killswitch engage etc. I forget what all the bands are called and neither are here now so I can't ask.

One thing I know is that everyone I know Hates MCR , but they aren't metal are they?

I listen to a crazy amount of SLUDGE metal. I won't even start listing bands because I'm 99.9% sure they haven't been heard of. I'm in college radio so it's a ton of fun seeking out obscure bands.

...What the heck, I'll list a couple
Isis
Callisto
Cult of Luna
Burst
Trenches

Check em out if you dare...

Yeah, when I heard that it was also confusing a bit, but on the other hand Linkin Park tours every year with many hip-hop artists....It's a creative collaboration I guess!

Yep.
I love this idea.
Coheed is an amazing band, and they deserve to share a stage with 2 of the greatest bands alive. :)

Alright, so I've been MIA for a while.
Lots of concerts.. haha.

To start off, I'd like to state that I've officially met my favorite band.
THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER !
http://www.myspace.com/blackdahliamurder

I saw them live two weeks ago. My friends band (Terrohorse) shared the stage with them.
So we stayed back after the show to have a beer or two, and the whole of The Black Dahlia Murder joined us ! :D

I play drums myself, so it was a great inspiration to meet my favorite drummer<3
He gave me a hug and I nearly fainted HAHAHA.

2 days before the BDM show, I saw Avenged Sevenfold and the day after that, I saw Protest The Hero .

I've also seen Gojira, Job For A Cowboy, BMTH, Suicide Silence, Five Finger Death Punch (again) and Escape The Fate in the past 2 months.

On the way I've found some cool new ssssshiit that you guys NEED to listen to !

Terrorhorse , for starters.
Not only are they my friends band, but they truly have talent.
It amazes me that they aren't signed yet.

Baptized In Blood
Seen these guys twice now.
Proper amazing band.

Tool isn't quite new to me, I've listened to them before, but I could never really get into them.
This past month I went out and got all their albums, and they are pretty amazing.

Mastodon is another band that I used to hate, but now I can't get enough of them lol.
Deffo worth the listen :)

iwrestledabearonce is another awesome band that I've really gotten in to.
Amazing vocalist :)

Tool is a wet dream.... sorry I just love them so freakin' much.

Rosetta is a great band to check out by the way for anyone interested. Their album The Galilean Satellites is pretty great. I can just sit and space out listening to it for hours.
