Grayce - thanks for the feedback on the cover. Don't worry, it will definitely be available on Amazon in both hard copy and Kindle. What's more, I will happily send anyone an autographed copy if they will help me spread the word in America about my book. I can't exactly do book signings over there! Yes, I was very happy when I heard they were bringing Carter Burwell back for BD. He's great.

Ashley - congrats on the new job!

Hi everyone.

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving. I probably won't be online much during the actual day, since I'll be helping out mom with dinner and such.

Grandma: I saw my grandma at the hospital today, and I have to say that it was unsettling. I actually got emotional after a while, and I left shortly after. Seeing grandma in that state just pissed me off even more about the drama and BS going on with some of my family members (none from my immediate family, thankfully). It's pretty awful to say the least that people act like this over stuff like that.

Twilight books: I did manage to get the official guide and the Twilight graphic novels. I'll probably buy the movie book and NM graphic novel online when I get my debit card.

Rest of the day: I got home, ate, and slept until about 9:00. I dug out some old aviation books, because this is the time of year I start to think about World War II stuff typically, and I might read one or two in bed.

I do plan on possibly writing more of my fan fic story tonight, and then I'll probably be headed to bed. As I said, probably won't be online much tomorrow.

I'll be back when I can :)

Good morning everybody!!!

HAPPY THANKS GIVING!!!!
I hope you all have a great time with you family and friends…
If I remember it correctly it’s a day to be thankful for what you have… So here by my participation in this festivities…

I am thankful to have you all as my brothers and sisters…My life would be very boring if you all weren’t here.

Alright, tomorrow I’m not sure if I have time to post. I have a trip planned with my work. We are having a party in Antwerp. So we are leaving early and I have tons of work to finish before that…

Now posts…

Amanda, you are making me very excited about Immortal instruments… I really going to have to pick that one up this weekend.
Hihi, my bf likes to bake and cook so if we need anything special he will spend the time in the kitchen… I just don’t have the patience for it.

Susie, it sounds like you are all ready for the festivities… Baking and cooking away…
How is your knee holding up?

Lynne, Iraq just sounds so dangerous.. I mean why can’t the just go shooting in a more saver Arabic country???

Sarah, Rob’s new project “Mission Blacklist” is confirmed to being shot in Iraq. There isn’t any confirmation on when shooting begins but I think he will first do the Rover in Australia. Shortly after the new year.
I can pm you a list of my favorite fanfics. I have a large collection of Twilight, HP and LoTR (and cross over) fanfics. Are you only interested in Twilight?
Also I might need to send you some through pdf because Fanfic.net has been throwing out all the good smut…

Grayce, my bf tried to make a cheese cake with cream cheese once. It was a US recipe.. I’ll tell you here in Holland it’s damn hard to find the right cream cheese. Everything has a different name here… There isn’t one package that says cream cheese…

Ashley, congrats on the job…

Alright, time for work!!
See you all later

I'm so sorry...I have READ all your posts but I just can't go back right now and do the mega post. I've got 2 sick kids home, I've been working on making toothfairy pillows for them for Christmas, and Mr. Man's birthday is next week, so I need to bake a cheesecake (Marielle, the cheese you need for cheesecake is Mon Chou. You can also use Philadelphia natural flavor, but it's WAY more expensive.) to stick in the freezer so I don't have to do it next Saturday, and I need to clean as I still have boxes of stuff from when they replaced the wallpaper after the dishwasher flood. Sp I'm sorry for the lack of megaposting, but I've just got too much going on right now.

Austin, so glad you finally got to see BD2!!!

Sean, sorry seeing your grandma upset you, but I'm glad you've got BD1 to maybe take your mind off of it!

Ashley, congrats on the new job!

Sarah, I know what you mean about MS...I've read it several times...like Tracy, I went into a withdrawl after reading all 4 books and I went and read EVERYTHING I could get my hands on (except fan fic) and I about cried when I got through it and there was nothing more...but I don't think we're going to get any more..SM said in an interview that she was done writing about vampires for a while because she has been writing vampires for a really long time now. So I think we're out of luck...what upsets me is that she would disappoint ALL her fans because one jerk did something horrible...it's like the teacher keeping all the kids after school because one kid threw a spit wad, but on a monumentally larger scale...not exactly fair to those of us who have supported her for years. I know she's not OBLIGATED in any way, but it feels like she's punishing us for something we didn't do.
You've inspired me to do a Gilmore Girls Marathon! I've been watching while I sew the toothfairy pillows. Jane Lynch was GREAT as the crabby nurse...I didn't know she was in it! Lots of fun. I'm still on season one, but man there are some great one liners. Lorelai just started screaming "STELLA!!!!1" rofl

So Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Safe travels!!

Had a few hours before we have to load up the car and head out, so I thought I would hop on here for a bit.

Songbird- So sorry your little ones are sick. Hope it's not too bad. What are "toothfairy pillows"? I finally finished watching all the Gilmore Girls. I loved that show! I wish it had watched it while it was actually airing, but I think I was watching several other shows at the time. The way Lorelai and Rory interact with each other is just wonderful and Lorelai's friend Sookie is too cute! I would love to have the whole series on DVD.

It seems like we had the cream cheese discussion last year too. This site may help. This is the Australian site, who knew...

Great news, Ashley! That is wonderful and apparently meant to be since it worked out so smoothly.

Lynn I absolutely will spread the word, you just say when. My sister, and a friend I work with both have nooks. I've shared books and websites to buy ebooks with both of them. My friend has a cousin she shares with as well. All it takes is telling three people and they tell three, etc...it'll spread like wildfire! I loved the chapter I read so I'm sure the rest will be great!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my U.S. Friends!

Happy Day to all the rest of you!

Daughter Dear will be phoning us today at my parents' house, so that will be fun. She's across the river in Uruguay on a retreat with the 4 other Young Adults in Global Mission in the region.

I'm bringing the Pumpkin Pies and the Candied Yams, both of which I make from scratch. I know there's been a lot of talk about cooking and baking here. I learned to make pies because I love to EAT pie and you can't buy pies that taste homemade. So I mastered the crust. If you do in on a regular basis, you get a system down. The crust is the hardest part. Most of my motivation for cooking is eating!

It's unseasonably warm here today - in the mid-upper 50's. It's usually in the lower 30's on Thanksgiving and sometimes we even have snow (I'm in Minnesota). Tonight a cold front is coming through, so tomorrow's high is 27!!! YIKES! I always get a massive headache when the temp drops that far that fast.

I don't do Black Friday for three reasons: 1) Too crowded 2) Too commercial 3) No money to spend. But since I'm still celebrating my birthday, a friend is taking me out to lunch. We'll be in a quiet neighborhood shopping district, so we won't be fighting the mall crowds. I know some people love Black Friday because it is a great adventure. If you are one of these people, you've got a ton more energy than I do. Enjoy!

BD2 Round 3 on Tuesday afternoon was so fun! I did go to the VIP 21+ balcony and it was a free upgrade because I'm a "member" and M-Th you can get a free upgrade. Whoo hoo! It won't stay at the VIP theatre long, though because they only have 2 of those out of the 14 and they like to get the other big box office draws in there. That's one reason I wanted to make sure I took advantage of it still being in the VIP.

Sorry I'm not responding to individual posts.
I'm a bit distracted now because I've got to go make the Yams now.

Bye!

Happy Day, Turkish! Er....Happy Turkey Day!

Grayce, Bug is doing better, but Mr. Man just came down with it today and he's got a 103 temp now. Poor baby.
Toothfairy pillows are small little pillows with a pocket in them and a ribbon so you hang it on the door, you put the tooth in the pocket and then there's no need to reach under their heads, possibly waking them up, when you make the switch. I saw them on etsy but they cost 15-20 bucks, so I'm making them instead. There are pics on my FB, though I haven't stuffed them yet...just sewed on decorations and the pockets and such. I'm waiting till I go to my in-laws' house to finish them because my MIL has a sewing machine.
I actually did watch all but the first season of GG when it was on...the first season I was watching something else...I think 7th Heaven maybe? But then I saw GG and switched to that...LOVE IT.

Susie, I know what you mean. I make all my pies and cakes from scratch, too...mostly because you can't get mixes or pie crusts here...well, not pie crusts as we know them. So I make mine, too. SO much better isn't it??
Glad you enjoyed another VIP viewing of BD2!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY US HH SIBLINGS!!

And have a fun, non stressful day to the rest of you! :)

I am so grateful you guys have welcomed me in and treated me like one of your own. It's such a relief to have a place to come where people don't make fun of me for my love of a great book series and just in general :)

I am sadly not doing any cooking today..I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing  my Mom is funny and has a hard time letting me do things (they still think of me as a child  ) and I bought the pies we're bringing, so that's okay. I have a bit of a cough but I'm really glad it hasn't gotten any worse! Yes, Susie, I am one of those crazies who shops tomorrow ;) my boss even gave me the day off since I guess Hallmark doesn't get that busy so I'm able to go out with my Mom. We don't go for the big stuff-just clothes and DVDs :) The deals are amazing and it's become a tradition for us.

Song-I didn't realize Jane Lynch was in Season One..is it the hospital episode when Richard had a heart attack? I'm not into Glee but I still think she's a good actress. I'll have to go back and watch. This week Target has GG seasons for $8 so Jason let me get one! I gave it to him to give me for Christmas..it saved him a trip and this way I knew I was getting at least one good DVD set to watch! And oh my, that's a fabulous fabulous description of SM and MS. I mean, seriously..she has to know how much we all want her to finish it!! Hope your kids feel better soon!

Marielle-Oh okay, thanks :) I should check IMDB more often to see what he's working on. As far as fanfic goes, I'm currently thinking only whatever finishes MS..I've gone back and re-read part of it again since I felt like I was in a withdrawl yesterday!

Sean-so glad you got the guide! I loved it. So sorry to hear about your grandma.

Ashley-nice to see you around here :) I'm watching the parade until we leave for my parents' house. It's fun seeing all the marching bands/dancing. Congrats on the job!

Lynne-I may be able to help you out :) I have a lot of book nerd friends (not to mention I read constantly it seems like) and it'd be cool!

I'm likely going to join the FB group soon..I have a weird thing about privacy but I feel like I'm getting to know you all very quickly so I'm definitely considering it :)

Happy Thanksgiving To All!

I think my turkey came out very nice.

Feast your eyes on this and drool. No seconds, please, there isn't enough for that.
