Good morning everybody!!!!

Gods I hate being back at work… I have absolutely no joy in being here any more… but I can’t stay in that mind set… I am not allowed to stress myself out over things that aren’t in my control yet…

Besides it will be such a good weather this week!!! Today we will hit the 80’s so it will be nice and warm… I wanted to go to the beach but as it’s the summer vacation it will be bloody busy at the beach so I think I’ll enjoy the sun from my balcony.

Urgh, I hate my work computer!!! It won’t upload the Blackbook pictures……grrrrr……

Alright posts…

Caryn, I love the picture with the yellow trouser, I just love the angle of the shot…I was thinking we still haven’t see take outs from that Vanity Fair shoot did we????
I love that Taylor picture…

Ann-marie, I think it’s the idea that you think your happiness depends on how many friends or how much you see your friends that you need to let go. You don’t need conformation that they like you every time… You’ve got to trust your heart and if it thinks they are your friend than they are. If not you shouldn’t be wasting your time on them…first try to find happiness with yourself, love yourself and than you’ll enjoy life a hell of a lot more…

Lynne, I got two copies of Remember me… I put in on my list for my dad so that he could buy it during his trips because we got a late release in Holland, however my dad’s trip home got delayed and I too impatient and bought it here already… so I ended up with two…

Brenda, you have a way of always looking at things from the bright side…
You know, I hate greens…I really don’t like to eat fruit and veggies…I do it because it’s healthy but I won’t enjoy it…hihi, love the Mad-eye quote, so fitting…
I wonder where the doc thinks I’m going to find those 5 kilo’s to loose but the expensive scale he has says I have about 37% body fat so I guess there is something to loose… he thinks 20 to 25% body fat should do for me…

Tracy, I love to play tennis but my leg isn’t yet healed so I still need to be patient with that. For now it will be walking… maybe I’m going to try some skating later this week and next week I’ll have a look at playing tennis again… I was going to do yoga after my vacation but my leg seriously threw that schedule out…

Alright it’s time to focus on the back-log in my email account…
See you all later!!!

Brenda - boy, I agree with Tracy, I'm tired just reading your post! I'm glad you're enjoying my fanfic. I think the quote your after is from Humperdinck in the Pit of Despair - "You truly loved each other? So you might have been truly happy. Not one couple in a century has that chance, no matter what the storybooks say. So I think no man in a century will suffer as greatly as you will." That's just before he kills Westley.

Tracy - yes, they still can't get Rob's name right! And I did cry watching Remember Me this afternoon. The movie's score doesn't help. It's brilliant - and it's a killer!

marielle - work can be a real drag sometimes. Can you find another job?

Good afternoon, siblings. Day two of band camp down and, thankfully, it was MUCH cooler today. We got lucky with some serious cloud cover and a stormfront that blew through which lowered the temperature significantly. The breeze will really help as well.

Sean~ Well, thank you for that correction. To me, while both are egregious errors when dealing with actors of Rob and Kris’ caliber, I can at least understand the misspelling. It doesn’t make it right in the least, but I can at least understand it. But, when you just plain get the person’s name wrong? That’s just unforgiveable. I was incensed when they listed Rob as ‘Rob Patterson’ during the Eclipse Today Show interview with Jenna Bush Hager.

Brenda~ Yeah, that definitely sounds like you need a break from your day off! That would be awesome if you got that for the premiere. Yes, you’re absolutely right. It’s a just the barest glimpse and it just makes us want to see more.

Tracy~ Yes, they are very aware. Sadly, as you know, it’s pretty common that the kids think that they are exempt from the laws of biology. The number of kids we’ve had show up wearing black tshirts and beannies… :eyeroll: I had five kids under the tent with me yesterday rotating ice rags. That was something that hit me every time they talked about it at ComicCon, like the cast was the coolest band on their farewell tour. It does feel like that, I think. No, I still think the pictures of ZygoteRob *eyeballs anyone who thinks of posting them* are way worse. The poor boy!!

Marielle~ There are MANY who are fond of that photo, although everyone for fairly similar reasons. Can you guess what they are? No, we haven’t ever seen outtakes from the last Vanity Fair shoot, unfortunately. But, it seems that that isn’t that strange for Annie Leibowitz shoots. She doesn’t often release outtakes, apparently.

Lynne~ I cry every time I watch Remember Me. It always just grabs me and won’t let go. I know so many people who actually turn off the film just after Tyler gets off of the phone with his dad. They just can’t bear to watch the ending.

Sadly, I'm off to do a bit of computer work before soccer practice tonight. Laters, baby!

Happy New Home Siblings!

Love all the decorations you have all posted so far! Laughing as I'm sure someone is now gonna post the ZygoteRob pic for Caryn soon Haha!

I have a favour to ask of you. I already posted this on the HH fb page, but I will ask here too! Seeing the new tatt pics of Rob has really made me want to re-read CW&IA. I have a copy in a Word document, but it's just one HUGE document... Does anyone have a copy that is somehow split into chapters? I'm not sure if you can do this on Word, without making it lots of separate docs, or if you can do it in a pdf? Which obvs I don't have yet LOL. If I try to read my copy on my phone, Word doesn't remember where I am and I have to scroll forever to find my place LOL. So, if anyone has one I could aquire, that would be most appreciated!

A couple replies!

Marielle - Sorry you didn't get the news that you would have liked from your doctors visit. Of course, we all want you and your heart to stay healthy for a long long time, so I hope that you are able to do what you need to do. Did you ask the doc about your leg? Maybe you could do some yoga, but not the positions that would hurt your leg?
Great advice you gave Ann Marie btw!

Tracy - Hey there! How does your daughter like her newly painted room? That's great that you are bringing her into your work this week. Is she looking forward to it?

Caryn - Sounds like you are having fun at bandcamp, despite the heat etc. Are you actually on holiday from work too? Do you and your family have any vacation plans this year?

Brenda - Wow, you are certainly busy on your "day off"! ;)
Saw your tatt pic, would be very cool if you did that for the premiere. I take it your hubs is not a fan of tattoos? LOL

Ann Marie - I am glad you had a nice day yesterday! :)

Lynne - So what did you think of Remember Me? Had you seen it before?

Everyone I missed! - Hey there!! I hope you are all doing good!

Well, I'm heading off now. We are going to watch some ER!

Bye!

Hey everyone!
Nothing much going on here. Just had the going-away-party for my friend, which was fun. Also enjoying the tropical weather on my breaks. Seems like summer is finally starting over here.

Lynne – I’m very curious to see what you did with your fanfic. I might start reading it this weekend. Can’t wait! :) Had you seen Remember Me before? I love it! I cry every time I watch it. The first time I didn’t know about the ending and I was so shocked, I cried for about an hour afterwards. Every time I’ve watched it since, the tears already start when he’s on the phone with his dad. Tyler is at that point finally a little happy and content in his life. His relationship with his dad is finally better and he made up with Ally. And knowing what is going to happen next… That’s what always gets me. Just when things are looking up, he has to die. It’s like: WHY!?? Then first the silence and then the voice over, music and quote… It’s so powerful.

Amy – Good for you! Working out and spending more time with your family. Hope you’re having fun. Yes, Sempre was – is amazing! On the lemons: My thoughts exactly. But on the other hand I can understand why they took them out. I guess they wanted to avoid being a second Fifty and besides the focus of this story should be on the slavery. It’s not like people should pick it up just for the erotic aspect, you know. Now that I think of it, which book was actually published first? Fifty or Sempre?

Caryn – Seems like none of us watched the entire TCA. I only watched the Twilight bit and the No Doubt performance on youtube. Did you see the montage they made of The Saga? I thought it was pretty ironic that it ended with Jacob’s line: “I know how this ends. And I’m not sticking around to watch.” :? Are you trying to tell us something TCA? Also, why is the saga honored for all its awards when we still have one more movie to go? Making room for THG next year just like MTV? And Choice Liplock is just… WRONG! *end rant* Rob and Kristen were absolutely adorable! It was a bit awkward when Rob handed his surfboard to one side of the crowd, then Kristen to the other side and Taylor just stood there. Eventually he just put his down and left it in the middle of the stage… Wow, looks like we’re living in the Halfway Zoo now! LOL

Sean – I think them giving away their surfboards was really sweet. It shows how much they appreciate us fans as they’ve said time and time again. They didn’t spell Kristen right? I didn’t even notice. How stupid can they be?! Hope you have something to do at work today.

Brenda – Love your decorations!I was wondering about the surfboard at TCA as well. It couldn’t have ended well… I don’t believe Kristen had a boob job for one minute. They have absolutely no proof (the shirt and bra just made her appear bigger) and above all; Kristen is just not that kind of girl! She walks around in sneakers and cut up t-shirts and most of the time she looks like she hasn’t even brushed her hair. They really think she cares about her bust size? You know, cheerleading is almost nonexistent over here. Schools here don’t have their own sports teams or pep rallies or cheerleader or whatever. I have heard and seen on tv that cheerleading is quite a serious sport, yes. I love anything EPOV! Let me know if you post your fanfic somewhere. Wow, now I know why you work so much. Your “weekend day” sounds very tiring!

Marielle – I’m glad you had fun at the festival. Just the kind of distraction you needed after the bad news from the doctor. If I ever encounter a vampire, I’ll do my utmost to send him your way. ;) Good luck, trying to get that little bit extra healthy. Reggae, metal, tiroler and Abba? HAHA! That is the most eclectic collection of music I’ve ever heard of. Was it one of those two days festivals where you all camp out on a field nearby? The weather is sooo nice! Unfortunately I can’t stay in the sun too long. I could feel a sunburn coming up after only 10 minutes outside on my lunchbreak. :( I should bring my sun lotion tomorrow…

Ann Marie – That’s too bad you can’t get your Bel Ami DVD right now. You’ll just have to do with DuRoyCrack for a little while longer. Glad you had a nice day. Is the weather as great with you as it is over here? We’ve finally gotten some good summer weather. Unfortunately I can barely stay in the sun because I get a sunburn really fast. :(

Tracy – Your daughter is getting a big girl room now, hihi. A real teenager room. :) She must be very happy with it. I responded to Amy about Sempre and the lack of lemons. It was an important part of the character development in EP, yes. And I do miss that, knowing they were there originally. But on the other hand I can understand why they took them out. You did perfect with the pic! :D

Jaclyn – Uhm, what is the ZygoteRob pic? I only have the CW&IA version you send me. I know there’s a function in Word to make sort of like an index though. On the first page it will give a list of all the subtitles you defined with page numbers and I believe that works as a link to that page as well. But I don’t know if that would work on a mobile phone…

I’m not going swimming tomorrow as apparently the swimming pool isn’t open tomorrow night. We rescheduled for next week. But that does mean I can probably stop by for HumpDay!
So see you tomorrow!

Morning all! The sun is shining all week here, which is great, because Hubby's actually busy this week! It's a really good week this week, and it's looking positive for the month, I think. I'll know more when I go down and look at the figures today, as I'm working for our business today. I'm pretty sure that July this year is going better than July last year, but it'd better be, because June was abysmal!

Caryn - I never thought of turning off. I must confess I don't think I could do that. It's such a crucial part of the movie.

Jaclyn - yes, I have seen Remember Me before. Fortunately, I knew what happened even before I ever saw it, or I would have probably gone to bed for a week and cried the whole time!

Ann Marie - don't worry, Rob will come! Glad you've had a good day.

Suzan - I hope you like the fanfic. Yes, I have seen Remember Me before, and I always cry when I'm watching it. I already knew what happened before I saw it, which is probably good, as I dread to think of the effect it would have had on me if I hadn't. I start crying as soon as he picks up his journal and says goodbye to Ally.

Hello from the beach! I have not left the balcony until today and that was because it rained and started lightening. I am feeling much better. I plan on heading down to the beach tonight if it dries up a little and for sure tomorrow for a short time. The antibiotics they gave me for the pneumonia make me extremely sensitive to the sun. So, my usual of sitting out on the sand all day under my umbrella is out. But, I'm here, so noooo complaints! LOL!
I love all the house decorations! I hope everyone is having a great week! It's time to get dressed for dinner here. I am still in my pj's. Ahhh... I so love vacations!
