I had a huge sinus headache this morning. I only really got up about a half hour ago, though I got up at around 11:00 to help out with Grandma.

I plan on some gaming, fan fic work and spending some time outside today. Tomorrow's weather is looking even better.

Hey there!

I had an annoying day working for Rochelle yesterday. For a start, I was there by myself all day. Although that can be good because I get a lot done, it's happened a lot lately and it's quite lonely. It also makes me feel on the outer as far as the business is concerned.
I had to close up about 60 boxes we were posting yesterday. We were waiting for a magazine to put in them so when it came I put it in and closed up the boxes, moving them outside. I did it progressively, as I couldn't reach the boxes in the middle without moving the other ones out of the way.
After I was halfway down the box of magazines, I found an A4 insert which was meant to go in the magazines! By then I had closed about 35 boxes, so had to open them again to put the insert in! And later, when I spoke to Rochelle about it she said, 'No, we already put that in yesterday! They shouldn't have sent it!' Well, how was I supposed to know that?
I also did some corrections to someone's typeset book and let's just say that his instructions weren't the clearest. So it wasn't much fun yesterday. Hopefully today is better.

It'll be a hot day where I'm at. I'm already in a T-shirt and shorts with a fan running. Also, if you live in the mid-west/great plains, be on the look out for severe weather based on this:

As for me, I'll be looking up stuff online and doing some gaming, and normal stuff. Right now, I'm waiting for grandma to get up so I can make her breakfast and help with her medication.

Still trying to get money out of that bookstore. The owner should be working today so I'm going to try and call while she's there. We'll see what happens. Other than that, it's just a quiet day.

Hi everyone.

I got a fan fic chapter done last night--finally! And I loved the creamy chicken pasta I made last night for dinner.

As for today/tonight's plans, I'll be working on gaming and maybe watching a NASCAR race while having a pizza. The weather is cooler here today, and it's a lot more pleasant than yesterday. I have some grocery getting to do tomorrow, also a library run. So things are pretty good right now for me.

It's Mothers' Day tomorrow, so this morning I need to go out and buy a rosebush for my mother-in-law. She said that's what she wants, so that's what she's going to get! Other than that, we'll cook some choc chip biscuits this morning. Yum!

I'm feeling a little bereft as well. It's a week today since the book launch. It's hard to believe that week has passed so quickly. I don't know when I'll be having another (or if) so I'm a bit sad about that

I finally sat down and had a look at my new manuscript last night. I'd been avoiding it because I know the story has problems and I'm not sure how to fix them, but i found I quite liked it. However, it is quite violent, so I'm not sure if Rochelle will go for it. It would be sad if she rejects this one too, especially since I have no other ideas at the moment.

Hi everyone.

I got up about an hour ago. I would've gotten up earlier, but I had a helluva time trying to sleep last night. I went to bed at about 11:30, but I wouldn't actually get to sleep until about 2:00. So that means that after the NASCAR Truck Series race went off last night, I didn't do too much.

Though, I did have a couple Big King burgers, an original chicken sandwich, and onion rings from BK last night. I didn't get the chicken sandwiches I wanted, so I'm hoping to get those today while I get my groceries and library stuff.

So for today, I plan on looking up some stuff, running the errands that I mentioned, watching the NASCAR race tonight, and maybe some gaming as well as cleaning up some stuff before my parents get here tomorrow.

It's mothers' day here today! I got Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen for a gift this morning. I've been meaning to get those movies for years. So that's great. Little Man also gave me some little buckets with lollies in them and immediately asked, 'You'll share them, won't you, Mummy?'
Today we're going down to the Gold Coast to see Hubby's Grandmother. On the way we'll stop off at his mother's place and give her her mothers' day present. It's a rose bush, so we have to give it to her before we go (she and her husband are coming with us) because if we leave the poor thing in the car it won't be in a good way by the time we get home. She wanted a rose bush, but I forgot to ask which ones she already has, so I'm hoping that she doesn't have the one I bought. I will be embarrassed if she does. I should have thought to ask.

I got my sandwiches, library books, sandwich wrap stuff and some other things at the grocery store today.

Other than that, I still plan on some gaming stuff and watching the NASCAR race, maybe while eating my sandwich wrap stuff.
