It was my wedding anniversary yesterday so I forgot to say happy birthday to Rob! Oh well, it's still his birthday in some parts of the world so now will have to do. Happy birthday, Rob!

We didn't do anything special last night. However, on the weekend the in-laws are looking after Little Man while Hubby and I go to a dessert bar. We haven't been there before but we've heard good things about it, so hopefully it should be good.

I'm working for Rochelle today and hopefully I'll get all the things done that I didn't get done last week.

Hey Ashley!

Susan - my you are a little busy! Yes, getting an agent is a hell of a business and I don't think I have time right now to go that road. It's ironic. In trying to maintain all this stuff to do with my writing I don't even have time to actually write. It's very frustrating.

Hi everyone.

Guess what? Tornado watch for my area until 9:00 tonight! There was also a tornado warning for the southern part of my county last night, and we had quite a hail storm about an hour ago.

At least most of this stuff will be out of her tonight, so my pork chop dinner is on for this evening. Strange thing is that it's so humid that though it's only like 65 outside right now, I can get very warm, but run a fan for long enough, I get a huge chill.

Anyways, I have some gaming and fan fic plans for tonight to go along with my dinner. Listening to some Liana right now and I'm looking up some stuff. It it weren't for the severe weather threat and the humidity, today would be my kinda day to be honest.

I'll be back later :)

Morning all!

Today I am doing something kind of exciting. I am speaking to a group of students at a high school about writing. They're all entering a literary competition and I will be trying to help them write well enough to do well. I will be going to spend a half hour with them in the lunch hour every Thursday for the next five weeks. I'm hoping it will go really well, but I am a little nervous. Hopefully I can help them and won't just be talking about stuff they already know.

Hi everyone.

I'm listening to some Liana right now, and they have a show tonight that I hope some videos or photos come out of.

No new kittens yet, but at least we made it though the storms last night. It mostly just rained. I still haven't made my pork chop dinner. I went to bed at around 8:30 and didn't really get up until about 10:00 this morning. So that'll be a project for tonight, as well as some gaming and other stuff, like fan fic.

I'll be back later :)

Hey there!

Yesterday went pretty well. There were about 18 in the class and they didn't seem to get too bored. I ran out of things to say though, so I think next time I might need to make it a bit longer!

Hi everyone.

I got a good start on my next fan fic chapter and did some gaming last night. I also finally had my pork chop dinner.

I woke up with a stiff neck this morning, but reading that Liana had a good show last night and the pic they posted on their FB page helped make it better. You should check out their You Tube channel when you get some time, you won't regret it :)

Anyways, I have fan fic, gaming and some other stuff planned for tonight. Still no new kittens, but it can't be long now.

I'll be back later :)

Today Little Man is going to the Ipswich Show (which is a big fair) with his grandparents and will be spending the night at their place so Hubby and I can celebrate our anniversary, albeit a few days after the actual date. We're going to a dessert bar for dinner tonight. It looks really good and I hope it will be, although it's in a section of town I'm not fond of visiting. We won't be there really late though, so it should be okay. Hopefully it will be YUM!

I went to the doctor yesterday for a checkup and was pleased when he weighed and measure me and said I was in the healthy weight range for my age and height. That was nice to hear. I've been working hard at keeping my weight under control and it appears to have paid off. Not that I intend to restrain myself tonight! :D

Hey all,

I have been lurking some this week but I've been so busy with work I just had absolutely nothing of interest to say :P We're working again tomorrow but my boss is being super sweet and giving me a small bonus for working two Saturdays in a row, though I told her she didn't need to. The extra money is nice since I got a red light camera ticket for accidentally running a red light :( I hate those things and usually avoid the intersections that have them but I didn't think I would have time to stop :/

Other than that, I've been mostly spending lots of time with my Mom and her new puppy-he's such a silly guy and needs lots of socialization so he's not fearful of strangers. Peeta, the new cat, continues to adjust well which is a relief, and it turns out he's a love bug which I never expected :) He just needed some time to get used to the dog.

Lynne-yay for good doctor reports :) and that dessert bar sounds nice, what sort of stuff do they serve there? Here we have bakeries and ice cream parlors but nothing else that serves only desserts that I can think of.

Talking with the high schoolers sounds fun. I know if I had been in high school and met a real author, I would've been over the moon so I'm sure they're learning a lot!

Song-I love hearing about your kiddos, yay for Little Man and his swimming. Thanks for saying pets count as kids..this morning when I was able to sleep in they didn't exactly agree with that ;)

Hi there!

Hubby and I had a great time last night. It turned out the restaurant was in a much more upmarket section of that suburb than I had thought, so it was great. The food was pretty good. They did have some other things besides desserts, but specialised in the dessert area. I had a braised lamb sandwich which was pretty good. Hubby had barramundi. Then for dessert I had a dish called 'A Little Bit of Queensland', which was a macadamia/white chocolate slice covered with caramel sauce. Yum! Hubby had white chocolate dumplings. I also had a shot of chocolate and Hubby had a hot chocolate which came with little chocolate buds that you could use to increase the chocolate taste by putting in as many as you wanted. He tipped them all in and then added the leftover chocolate pouring sauce he had from his dumplings. So it was really yummy!

Sarah - sorry to hear that you got a ticket. That's never fun. :( The puppy looks very cute. I'm glad Peeta is getting along well with him. I hope the kids are enjoying what I tell them. I guess I'll be able to tell if they all come back this Thursday!

Hi everyone.

The kittens are doing fine, and I think that the all white one may be a boy, and the white and black one is a girl.

I went to sleep after the NASCAR all-star race last night, and it only took the pre-race show for me to devour a pizza. That's how long it took to get the race started.

I got up to make grandma her breakfast and help her out, and I got up again when my parents arrived about an hour ago. So I haven't been up to anything very interesting yet. I'll be trying for some gaming and maybe fan fic work later tonight after I'm done looking up some Audi stuff. And I might be having a pork chop dinner tonight, but that remains to be seen.

I'll be back later :)
