Morning all!

I put a book trailer together for one of our picture books yesterday. It's come out quite well. I've just got to double check it with Rochelle and the author and I'll be able to upload it. So that's one good thing. I only need to do about an hour's worth of work for her today and then I'm done!

Sean - I'm sorry to hear things are hard for you at the moment. Write some fan fic and see if that helps. I've got to do more of mine.

marielle - I'm certainly writing what my heart tells me at the moment. And make sure you enjoy that chocolate. Chocolate is a joy that shouldn't be undervalued.

Songbird - *sigh* no, if anything, it will get worse, especially once the book is launched. Then I will be doing book signings, etc (I am NOT looking forward to that!) and just about anything else to sell some copies.

Hi everyone.

I'm feeling better today, but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do today, since I only got up about a couple of hours ago, and I have to hit the hay early since I have work early tomorrow. I do hope to finish looking up a few things and work a bit on my fan fic before I got back to sleep. Other than that, I don't have a lot planned.

I do hope to get some groceries tomorrow (including bone in chicken breast and plain flour for my fried chicken, and some coffee stuff), and tonight or tomorrow I have to find and try and send in some paystubs from like November to my most recent ones to Social Security. I'm also thinking of stopping by the bank tomorrow and getting some money out so my brother and I can go eat somewhere we haven't in a while.

But aside from that, I don't have any firmly set plans for a lot of stuff yet. Maybe that's a good thing.

I'll be back later :)

Hey everybody!!!!

TGIF!!!! Finally, it's almost weekend, just a few hours to go.

This weekend I'm going to a convention named "Web-shop till you drop"... it's where all sorts of webshops presents their products. I'm hoping it will be fun. After that we are going to have dinner with a cousin of my bf.

anyway,

Susan, I hope your little one feels better soon. Yeah, the scratching pole is huge indeed. We still have to find a better spot for it but for now it's taking up half the room!

Lynne, I don't understand how you can not look forward to doing all the book promotion. It should be really exciting for you. Especially when people start to pick up on it.
Oh, i do every bite of chocolate. It's the one little piece of heaven I can give myself...

alright, I'm off...

I hate waking up before I need to..so here I am.

I worked yesterday and made myself study and got more party planning done. We are throwing my FIL a 60th birthday party next weekend..it's my first attempt at throwing a party where it's not just my friends that are gonna be there so it's a bit nerve wracking!

Marielle- nope, I still haven't sat down to watch it. During the week we have shows we watch and I've been busy in the afternoons. I've been dreading watching the battle scene! I might watch it today or this weekend with my best friend.

Song- that has to be frustrating :/ Must be hatd to be so far away..

I wound up forcing myself up off the couch and cleaning the kitchen. My entire house is an unorganized mess but I'm working on it one day at a time. Hope MM is feeling better!

Lynne- I imagine that book promo is both exciting and scary, not to mention stressful! Do you have a lot of promo planned?

Okay I'm off to attempt to get back to sleep...

Hey there!

It's Saturday here and we're having a pretty relaxed day. Not much happening. We are going to my in-laws' for dinner tonight. I always love a night when I don't have to cook!

Sarah - yes, waking up early can be a pain, can't it? It can also be a constant thing when you have children! I don't have a lot of promo planned at the moment, no. It isn't till June, after all. But I think I'll have to start calling bookstores soon to see if I can do some signings, then I'll need to try and get some interviews. It's all so hard.

marielle - the trouble is, it's nerve wracking. Just the other day on Facebook, a lady I know who is an editor and reviews heaps of books asked to review mine and I was terrified to give it to her. I'm afraid she'll give it a bad review. I know I'll get some bad reviews, that's inevitable, but I just don't know how I'm going to handle it. I'm also afraid people will write it off as "just like Twilight" and so irrelevant, and I've worked so hard to make it as little like Twilight as possible.

Hi everyone.

Had a much better day at work today, but it was tiring and I slept until about 9:00. Didn't go to Golden Corral today (brother was sick), but I did get groceries at least, including some Bobili pizzas (and the sauce that's supposed to come with them!), and some chicken breast items, though not the bone-in stuff I originally wanted.

And next week, race season for me officially begins, with the 12 Hours of Sebring, and here's what Audi will be bringing for the race:

I'm gonna watch some Ancient Aliens on History 2 and as for the rest of tonight, I'm not sure, but I do wish it was a bit overcast to hold some more heat in from today. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm, as well as Sunday, so that's great compared to what has been the norm around here.

I'll be back later :)

Hi everyone.

Not much going on here tonight. I'll probably look a few things up and work on fan fic.

I have some chicken breast items that are breaded but have to be baked (they're actually raw), one bag is Italian seasoned, and the other is spicy. I'll probably try them tonight, unless I decide to make another pizza--the one I had last night was great.

Other than that, I don't have much going on tonight, which is just as well because I have a few things I wanna work on, such as my fan fic and looking up a few things before I get started on that. And at least the weather has taken a change for the better around here, too.

Update: I'm almost done with working on fan fic tonight, since I'm a bit hungry and I sort of want to get offline for a while. I'm about ready to make that chicken i was talking about. At least chapter 7 is almost finished. I'll probably finish it up and some other stuff tomorrow afternoon/evening.

I'll let everyone know how the chicken turns out tomorrow, as well as chapter 7 if I get it finished.

I'll be back later :)

Goodness, it is quiet in here.

I'm off to work for Rochelle again today. By the way, The Heir has been finalised, both in print and on ebook. I will probably be uploading the ebook to Kindle today, so hopefully it will be up and available for preorders in the next day or so. I've also received the voice over for the new book trailer, so I'm hoping to do some work on that this week.

Hi everyone.

Good news: we might be getting the Pontiac back soon! It was taken over to my father's today to get worked on. So, hopefully, the Jeep from hell will only be a reserve vehicle or my parents can use it. The damned thing reminds me of a school bus, and I had enough of riding in those giant Twinkies through out most of my life in school.

And it's a pretty good day today, and it'll be a pretty good day tonight. Of course, it's supposed to rain and cool off tomorrow, but even that's better than it being as cold as it has been most of this winter.

The chicken I had last night was great, but tonight, I think that I'll take a stab at another Bobili pizza. I have some stuff to look up today and tonight, and a few other things that I'd like to try and do, such as some VG stuff and fan fic. Not much news on the front from Sebring, but testing doesn't start until tomorrow so naturally there's not much going on today.

And in case one's curious, tomorrow will be very similar to a day in Forks similar to what is often portrayed in the Twilight novels. I don't mind the rain too much most of the time, but it's the cold, and of course, with all the snow melt, it would be nice to get a few warm, dry days to dry out the ground a bit, but I can't really complain because of what we had before.

Update: I got chapter 7 done tonight. Now I have to figure out where to go for chapter 8. But for tonight, I have a pizza to make at some point, and some VG stuff to do before I go to bed, since I have work tomorrow. But I got everything else done today that I really wanted to do.

I'll be back later :)

Some disappointing news. The school libraries have refused The Heir. They say it starts too slowly. This is certainly a criticism that is valid. I'd be lying if I wasn't worried, although there have been other successful books that have started slowly. I'm kind of feeling a bit gutted, although Rochelle was trying to be positive. She says that sometimes we can still get good sales directly from the schools.
