Morning all!

I'm working for Rochelle again today. We're trying to get my new 'Verindon Trilogy' t-shirts printed, but we're having trouble deciding exactly what should go on them. It's a bit tricky. At the moment it's 'The Verindon Trilogy' with the eye image from the other t-shirt, then 'Her world is a galaxy away', then the URL for the website. I hope we can get the balance between them right. We really need to get going on them.
I got the voiceover for the book trailer today, so with any luck, I'll have the trailer up by the end of the day.

Songbird - I'm sorry to hear your brother-in-law still isn't doing okay. I hope something happens that will give the doctors whatever they need to overcome this. Yes, the US does seem to have some really cheap prices. It's not fair!

Hey everyone..

Last night was a rough night, up most of the night for various reasons and I woke up with the cat throwing up on me... :x thankfully I think it's just from the new food she's eating and nothing more serious....still, it was a crazy day!! I really want to see who wins the Biggest Loser but I'm wondering if I can stay up for another hour or so..

Song-the birthday party was the day before ;) it was for Jason's best friend's kid who just turned 3! I'm close to his Mom so I had to go..against my will, haha. But it wasn't that bad. And yes, my Seattle Seahawks played a fantastic game :D the entire area is so excited! It was such a dominant performance which I wasn't expecting! Katniss kitty is doing better, no blood anywhere I can see and she's been just as feisty as normal. I bought her a few new toys so she won't be jealous of the dog who gets treats.

Jason uses ACT mouthwash. If I use it, I notice a difference :) I think it helps him not get any cavities or have any major issues.

So sorry about your BIL :/

Lynne-no wonder everyone thought we were crazy when we were shocked that the prices went up close to $4/gal...that's very high for us. When I started driving 9 years ago, gas was $1/gal..so a two or three dollar increase over that short of time is a big difference. Right now we're hovering about $3.10/gal.

Thanks for all the encouragement about my kitty, it means a lot :)

Just a few months until the release, right? Are you excited or nervous?

Hi everyone.

In case I didn't mention it yesterday, the electricity got turned back on at my house yesterday. So now, for sure, most likely, I'll be back home next week. How soon depends on the weather and how quickly the damage can be repaired, but having power restored out there is a big help.

Apparently, that Audi video that I posted yesterday was of the 2013 R18 at the same test session as the new car, but this is for sure the new for '14 car here:

Other than that, I have some stuff that I'd like to watch tonight and such, but I'll be up here looking up some stuff until I decide to head downstairs.

I'll be back later :)

Hey there!

Today Little Man has swimming at school, and since Thursdays are usually a quiet day for me, I've volunteered to go and help. I hope it'll go okay. It's actually quite cool today, and I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to swimming in cooler weather. I was never like that as a child. I had to be dragged out of a pool in all seasons back then.

Sean - glad to hear things are getting back to normal after the fire. Hopefully it will all continue to go okay and you'll soon be back home! :)

Sarah - I'm getting a little nervous about the book release, but mainly because I haven't got the final edit yet! I really want to get to work on it so it can be finalised and typeset. Sorry to hear about your nasty wake up call! :D

Hi everyone.

New, longer video of the Audi R18 testing, with a Ferrari 458 also testing:

Other than that, I haven't been up to too much so far today, though I do hope to be home soon. How soon, I don't know exactly, but probably only a few days at most.

I do hope to be able to find something on TV tonight to watch, but then I'll probably be getting up early to get some grocery stuff tomorrow morning. But that's all I really have plans for at the moment.

I'll be back later :)

Morning all!

I am no longer the answer to life, the universe and everything.

Yes, today is my 43rd birthday. :o I'm getting soooooo old!

I've still got to work today. In fact, nothing special will be happening today. Hubby and I are going out to dinner tomorrow night, since it's Saturday, and on Sunday we'll have everyone over for some cake.

So sorry I missed your birthday, Lynne!! I hope it was a fantastic one!!

I have been having internet issues. Not sure what's going on, but sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it is shaky. For days now, I never know when or for how long I will have internet. It's been ok today, though.

Hubs had a fair to go to yesterday for work and he came home with a rubik's cube for each of the kids, which they played with and mixed up and then Bug had one complete side still, but MM messed it up this morning, Bug got all upset, and now hubs and I have spent the afternoon/evening watching tutorials on youtube to figure out how to get the darned thing back the way they are supposed to go. These tutorials all say they are easy, but they are not!

Sarah, I think I can get ACT at the pharmacy, but not in regular stores. I'll have to look. Thanks!
I'm sorry you had such a rude awakening the other day...I hope she's feeling better!
Did you end up watching the Biggest Loser? I've never seen it, but the winner was all over the news on facebook! Wow.

Lynne
, is that cutting it really close with the editing if you haven't gotten the final one yet?
Yes, I'm really hoping the doctors have got their act together now. I figured they'd have had it figured out weeks ago.
How was swimming?

Sean
, stay warm! My home town canceled school today because of the cold temps. Must have been pretty bad because they don't usually do that. Someone said it was -30 there, but I don't know if that was with or without windchill.
Glad you got the electricity back so you can commence the repair work and go back home!

Morning all!

You may have seen on Facebook that my in-laws gave me a night away for my birthday, so tonight, Hubby and I are going down to Broadbeach, which is not far from Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast. The place we're staying looks quite nice. The in-laws will be looking after Little Man. It will be nice to get away for a little bit! :) So I won't be here for the next 48 hours or so.

Songbird - I don't care what anyone says, Rubik's cubes are hard! I've never been able to master them. i'm not sure if it's cutting it too close with the book. I'll probably typeset it in an afternoon. Then it has to be proofed, which is probably what will take the time. No, I haven't got the final edit back yet. I will probably ask Rochelle about it next week. There shouldn't be too much to fix. I hope not, anyway, but it won't need to go to print until April, so we do have a bit of time still.

Hey all :)

Right now I've got on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, even though I know they were live like 12 hours ago..it's still fascinating to me :)

I'm so relieved it's the weekend, I've had such a crazy week I'm hoping to get caught up on rest and relax a bit. I'm supposed to go see Frozen tomorrow night but we're supposed to get a bit of snow, so we'll see what happens :)

Song-Kitty girl seems fine, I think the new food makes her get phlemy or something because she's been dry heaving more..I just happened to be underneath her when she got sick :P

I didn't actually get to finish The Biggest Loser, but I saw all the madness about the results the next day! I think she may have just pushed herself a bit further than necessary to win the money...she seemed so determined to win.

Rubix Cubes are hard!! Good luck figuring it out..that idea makes my brain hurt..seriously.

Lynne-Happy belated birthday!! I'm so glad you got a night away, how exciting :)

Hope you get the book back soon and get it ready to go!

Hi everyone.

Sorry for not being here yesterday, but the internet was out yesterday until just before I went to sleep.

I did get my groceries yesterday morning and everything has gone OK so far today. Hopefully, by this time next week, if not earlier, I'll probably be back home.

Other than that, I don't have too much else to say, and I have some stuff on TV tonight that I'd like to watch, but I'm not really up to much right now.

I'll be back later
