I saw that on Facebook!!! I'm so sorry, that's awful! Wasn't she just using a cane to get around as well? :/

Hi everyone.

Not much has happened so far today. However, when I see my doctor on April 2nd, I might ask about being put on sleep medication. Every time my sleep cycle gets disrupted, I tend to have very vivid dreams that I don't know why I'm having them or what they mean. But it happens every time there's a big shift in my sleep cycle.

This is something that I don't want to have to deal with when I go back to work. So I'll ask about that when I see this new doctor that I'll start going to for my anxiety stuff.

Other than that, I have to figure out what I want to eat tonight, and work on fan fic and other stuff, too.

I'll be back later :)

Hi Lynne, Susan, Sarah, and Sean!!!

Thanks for keeping this place going! I really appreciate that the thread is still here when I get around to stopping by for a visit.

Lynne - So sorry to hear about your MIL. I finally read The Crown - I kept forgetting to get to it, sorry! It was quite the adventure! I can't wait to read how it all resolves and I do hope that you didn't do a Divergent thingy with the plot! I've got to order The Reign now... Just read you're using the wrong muscle when you walk? What the Heck?

Sean - I'm glad you're back home now, sleeping in your own bed.

Susan
- You certainly have very full, eventful days don't you? By the way, I sent you a very long message on facebook.

Sarah - I'm sorry I can't scroll back enough to read all you've been doing, but I will say that I make corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's Day because I love to eat it! I actually cook the corned beef for the 3+ hours in the oven rather than get the already cooked stuff. I'll try to do better in my post to you next time. :)

Catch you later!

Hi again everyone.

About my sleep thing. Sometimes my dreams are really strange, and other times they're really pleasant, but still odd. I think that the most recent round is due to last weekend, between watching all of that racing and grandma going to the hospital. And I've noticed that my sleep is easily disrupted and I have a hard time getting to sleep again, so that's what I hope to have looked at in a couple of weeks time.

Other than that, keep watch for my posts on Tuesday. Audi have a pretty major announcement about their 2014 program, namely their official presentation and what the 2014 R18 will look like.

I hope to make a phone call to work today and a few other things. Hopefully today I'll be able to get things back on track a bit compared to the past week.

I'll be back later :)

Hi sibs. I am having a busy week. Monday I baked all day, Tuesday I had my cavities filled, Wednesday and Thursday I spent reading for my friend, and today I've been lazy because my head hurts. Bad day yesterday. MM was being a real pill, throwing multiple tantrums over minor little things and I didn't cope well. I REALLY need to get some help. He needs to learn how to process and appropriately express his emotions, and I need to learn how to facilitate that. So I'm feeling less than stellar today. Tomorrow is MM's swimming lesson and then we go to my in-laws'. Sunday my MIL is celebrating her 65th birthday, which is on Tuesday, and we are spending the afternoon and night there to help her set everything up and I am baking brownies and making a big pot of chili since it's always hugely popular at our parties.
Also, our phone wasn't working so I couldn't call my dad and it was his 81st birthday yesterday. We bought a new phone because we have been having problems for months, but the new one isn't set up yet. Lord, I hope the new one works!

Sean, glad your Grandma made it home! Hope she is feeling better.

Susie, so good to see you! And thank you so much for the message on FB! It really helped me a lot!

Lynne, So so excited for the release of The Reign! I really wish I could be in Australia for it!!
Sorry to hear about your mother! Wasn't she recovering from a previous fall?
So weird about your foot. Hubs went to the podiatrist yesterday or maybe Wednesday...his is covered because he's diabetic and diabetics have to be careful with their feet. He wears out shoes SO fast...within weeks of buying new shoes, the soles are broken, and it doesn't matter if they are cheap shoes or really expensive ones. It turns out his shoes are too big. He wears a size 44 but he SHOULD be wearing a 41, but his feet are way too wide to fit a 41. So his feet bend at a particular place, but that's not where the shoe wants to bend, so he breaks the soles. Really interesting, actually...it's amazing what they can figure out with science. I hope you get sorted soon!!

Sarah, I wish we got Frozen! It doesn't come out for another month here! You've seen it, though, right? Such a cute movie!

You can tell I was in a hurry yesterday. I used to wrong 'here/hear' in my post. I've fixed it up because I hate doing that.

We've got another busy weekend. Sometimes I wonder if there'll be some point where I won't be as busy as this. Maybe not, especially while gearing up for a book launch! I need to do some shopping this morning and take Little Man to swimming and do some cooking. At least this afternoon will be relaxing as we are going to my in-laws' place for dinner.

Sarah - she'd stopped using the cane a few weeks ago because her ankle was getting better. She was able to get away with the pressure bandage alone. I'm thinking this will take longer to heal from. I hope it's not too bad.

Sean - hope they get your sleep problem sorted out. That kind of thing is hard to deal with.

Susie - hello, and welcome back! :D Aha, you'll have to wait and see what happens in The Reign. I've been giving it a proof this week since it was typeset. I'm trying to decide whether I give it another one (I can't do the changes until I'm back at work the week after this one) or if I should just leave it. There were still a lot of things I need to fix up. Yes, apparently I use my calf muscles too much and not another muscle that I'm supposed to use. What can I say? I'm weird!

Susan - Those days when our kids muck up can be so hard. There are times I look back and realise how poorly I handled something. It can be difficult not to just react in the moment. We're baking brownies this afternoon too. We're having some people from the neighbourhood around tomorrow, so we're providing brownies to share. I wish you could be here for the release of The Reign too. At least you can experience it online. Yes, my mother fell down a set of stairs just after Christmas and she had pretty much recovered frpm that in the last few weeks. She really didn't need this.

Hi everyone.

I'm gong to try and get onto a somewhat different sleep schedule over this weekend. I know that's probably what has me a bit screwed up, but in the short term, how else am I going to fix it?

Other than that, I haven't been up to much today. Grandma's actually been doing pretty well overall, especially since her medication got changed. She also seems to be able to move around a lot better and seems more alert than before.

I don't have too much planned for tonight, but when my older brother gets home, I might let him know about me wanting to change my sleep schedule a bit. I'd also like for him to look something up on my laptop as far as anti-virus stuff.

I'll be back later :)

Morning all!

We're having the neighbours over this morning for a get together. I'm looking forward to it. We haven't done one since about this time last year. Then we'll have to wash the cars this afternoon. Apart from that, I think that's it.

By the way, yesterday my mother was told that she has cracked her rib but not her pelvis. Phew!

Hi everyone.

Got up just a little while ago and I haven't obviously done too much yet.

However, last night, I did make some home made taco salad. It turned out pretty good and I was able to make two servings of it.

I'll try and work on some fan fic tonight, but I'd like to get to bed a bit early so I can be up when my parents come out tomorrow and get more than a couple of hours of sleep. But I'm sure that I'll find something to occupy my night tonight.

Other than that I haven't been up to much yet.

And congrats are in order for Jaclyn and her baby :)

I'll be back later :)

Hey there, everybody!

I've got a busy day and a busy week. As of tomorrow, I'll be required in court as witness in a trial. So today I'm doing cleaning, grocery shopping and editing in the hope of getting a lot done which I won't be able to do for the rest of the week. I'm not sure how long the trial will take. I'm hoping I'll only be required one day so I can get some other stuff done.
