Hi guys!
I'm sorry to be anti-social, but I'm rather consumed with a certain book at the moment. Have finished it, but I'm halfway through a 2nd reading. See you all when I'm done.

Well done, Lynne!!!!

Hi everyone.

Had a pretty good day overall at work, helped by the fact that everyone at work seemed to make it though the storm pretty well.

My friend Tracy was near the storm in Shelby last night, but not much happened on her end. But none the less, I do want to carry out something that I've been wanting to do for a little while, which is to see about adding some of my co-workers as friends here on FB so I can send them messages or post on my wall to them about things like weather conditions and items like that. It really helped one of my friends out last night, so I think it might be helpful to others.

I also had another friend to took a photo of a possible funnel cloud near the Walmart on the other side of town, and it was even featured on a Cleveland news channel's weather updates.

But other than that, I'm fine. I'd like to try and get up about a half hour earlier tomorrow so I do a few things and get to work early so I can talk about the storm with my friend.

I'll be back later :)

Hey Everybody!!!

I'm sorry I have been away for a few days. Work has been crazy, even morning posts are quite impossible at the moment.
I'm hoping that in two weeks I'll have more time as my manager will be on holiday then and the school holidays will be starting,

I don't have much to report at the moment. My visit to the doctor went really well but he has advised me to see a psychiatrist to help me deal with the mental issues of it all. My mind need help with getting things sorted...

I'll be back here on Sunday to let you all know what happened at the cattery.

see you all soon

Morning all!

Hubby and I were part of a trivia team put together by my boss for a trivia night at her church last night. Hubby and I have a good record at trivia nights, and we continued our winning streak. We won by one point on a tie breaker question. It was good fun, although I ate too much chocolate!

Sean - I'm glad Tracy was okay.

marielle - I'm sorry to hear things are still so difficult for you. Hopefully the psychiartrist will help.

Hi everyone.

Had a pretty good day at work, and I'm finally starting to pare down shredding that I've been doing all week. I still have like 4-5 boxes full of the stuff, but at least I don't have the tons of it that I had before.

I'm also going to try and add some of my friends from work to my FB page--not here, though one's a big Twilight fan, but my own personal page. It's mostly to update them on the weather and such, because one of my friends from work said it was a big help with the updates I was giving on Wed. night.

Just one comment on Rob's Dior deal: Anyone think that it's kinda asinine that fragrance that Rob is supposed to be promoting won't be sold in North America or the UK? Those are the markets where Rob is the most popular, so it stands to reason that a product endorsed by him would probably sell well. That doesn't make sense to me that Dior won't sell the cologne or whatever it is (I'm no expert on women's or men's fragrances) in what would clearly be the two biggest markets where it would do well. If the stuff never gets sold here or in the UK, I'd consider that a big opportunity blown by Dior. Don't understand the decision making process there, about as bad as some European or Japanese cars that never make it here because of legislation or market demand.

Anyways, now that I got that out of my system, I don't have too much planned for this weekend. I plan on watching the sportscar race from Mid-Ohio tomorrow and next weekend is the big one: the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Speed Channel will have nearly 22 hours of live coverage from Le Mans during the race, and I'll be watching plenty of it, though it gets harder and harder every year.

Speaking of Le Mans, why can't I have this in the Jeep:

I'll be back later :)

Ugh! My swiss cheese brain!!!! Bug got a barbie doll that she already has for her birthday and wanted to take it back to the store to get a different one. We got the receipt, I put it in my wallet. We go to the store to return it (and we don't have this store in our town, so we had to drive 45 minutes to get to one) and I realized I'd left my wallet at home. I took it out of my purse yesterday when I picked the kids up from school and needed to swing by the store to get milk, but didn't need my whole big clunky purse. So I just grabbed the wallet and then forgot to put it back in the purse when I got home, and I grabbed my purse, forgetting that my wallet wasn't in it. Oops! Guess we'll be making another trip next weekend or something.

If anyone has read Lynne's book and is interested in discussing it, I've started a couple of threads on goodreads.

Lynne, I don't know whether to point out that "too much chocolate" is an oxymoron, or to tell you to wash your mouth out for that blasphemy! Glad you continued your winning streak!

Marielle, glad your appointment went well, but you have had a lot to deal with lately...with the new house, your hospital stay, Garfield...maybe your doctor is right. It can't hurt, anyway. Would it be covered by insurance?

Songbird - thanks for setting up those discussion groups. I'm hoping we will get a few people interested in chatting. Some of your theories were fascinating.

Hey everyone :) It's nice to come back and have a few pages to read! I didn't get on here while in California since I can never remember my password and I have it set up on auto log in on my laptop. But I kept reading about the group on FB (it's amazing how handy a smart phone is when you're in line!), so I got to see those nice pictures of Rob from the Dior campaign..ooo :) Has anyone heard what Taylor's been up to?

Our trip was fantastic..so much fun..I'd never been to Disneyland, so it truly was a magical time and I felt like a little kid. Such a blast seeing it all! Knotts Berry Farm was great too, I love Snoopy and Jason loved the roller coasters. I got to do a lot of shopping, which was great, and the weather was so warm.

Marielle-hope all went well at the catery..who is the chocolate lab in the picture you posted on FB? What a cutie! I've seen a therapist before to talk through some issues, so I really hope it helps you!

Lynne-I'm so glad everything has gone well with the launch..I hope to be able to buy it in a few weeks..save me a t-shirt!

Hi Song! Hope you're doing well..sometimes we all make silly mistakes..I left my ID in my travel bag last night but thankfully didn't need it at the store today..I hate it when those things happen. I'm not sure what the ACE actually stands for, but I spoke to my evaluator and he confirmed that the minimum score needed to pass was a 50 and I know that's the standard at most colleges around the country so that's all it was clarifying.

Hi to anyone I may have missed..now that school is done, I'm itching to re-read the saga and re-watch BD 2 again :)

Hi everyone.

Have had kinda a ho-hum day so far today. I mostly watched a sportscar race, and tried to play a VG, but I started to have a headache so I gave up on that for a while and now I'm on here for a while.

I'll have some dinner later and try again with the game, but right now, my main objective is to look up some stuff and hopefully later on finish something up. After I get that done, I'll be set for tomorrow.

But aside from that, I don't have much to comment on. Most of the stuff that I'm really interested in and looking forward to will come around tomorrow.

I'll be back later :)
