Morning all!

Yesterday it was back to the grindstone. I contacted those people who had reviewed The Heir and asked them if they'll review The Crown. As yet, I've had no replies. If any of you frequent any book blogs, I would be interested to know about them, so I can check them out and see if they will review one or other of them.

Susie - good to see you back. :) I'm glad you've done some changes to the memoir. I think it will make it better. You know, if you order The Crown now, you will probably have it before the book launch! Songbird's copy is already on its way to her.

Sean - hope the fan fic is going well.

Sarah - congrats on the year mark! I'm glad that I inspire you. It's nice to know. I keep reminding myself of what Ashton Kutcher said recently. Opportunities look a lot like hard work.

Hi everyone.

I'm still trying to figure out my plans for the rest of this week. The only thing that I know for sure is that I work tomorrow from 12:00-5:00, and 10:00-4:00 Thurs and Friday. I still don't know about the library visit over the next day or two, and I still haven't gotten plans for the dance finalized.

As for today, massive headache most of the day. Shortly after I got home from running some errands and looking around for some stuff to buy this weekend after I get paid, I had a massive sinus headache. At least I was throwing up like the last time I got one this bad. Sinus medication is now one thing that I'll def. be buying this weekend, since I only have some Alleve and that's not really cutting it. It's that time of year, after all, when nature doesn't know what the hell it wants to do. Also, being a daywalker now probably isn't helping much, either.

I have some plans to look up some stuff and read and do other things before I retire to bed tonight--hopefully in better shape than I was earlier.

I'll be back later :)

Hey there!

I have a radio interview today with my father. We're talking about how we're a family of writers. I'm looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

Also, there's a lady coming to stay with us tonight. There's a writers' conference on this weekend. I will be going on Saturday, and she's staying with us for the duration of it. I don't think I've met her before, so it will be nice to sit down and chat for a bit.

Hi everyone.

I had a good day at work, and I got some things sorted out. But before I get to the positive stuff, I have to address something.

As a lot of you already know, Christina's father passed away, and for those of who have her as a friend, Caryn also has a relative who's got a short time to live. I can relate, and this time of year at times kinda sucks for me, between weather changes and the physical effects they can have on me. But also, I lost my Grandpa in November almost 20 years ago, and I lost one of my grandma's last year just after Thanksgiving, and I have a grandmother who will be 83 in early Nov and she's not in the best of health, either. That's another reason why this time of year can be hard for me at times.

I know that I have plenty to look forward to in coming days and weeks--new job, a dance on Friday, other things that I now will have the opportunity to do--but there's also been other things that I'm not really looking forward to, either, having had several relatives pass away during this time of year at various points. That sucks and can add to the somber mood that can come sometimes at this time of year.

Now, as for brighter, happier things, I did get most of my stuff sorted out for the dance on Friday. All I need is confirmation of plans for someone to take me there and at what time--immediately after work, or pick me up from home after work. I also get paid on Friday, so I have to figure out what'll happen with that.

I also have a few plans for this weekend, too. Now that I'll actually have some money, I was thinking of getting a professional haircut and trying out eating somewhere.

As for tonight, I have a few things to look up and a couple of things that I'd like to do. I'd like to try and get as much of it done tonight as I can, because I have work early tomorrow, and I'd like to try and catch F1 practice tomorrow night--race is in Japan, which means that Sunday afternoon there is Saturday night here, and so on for the race weekend.

For those of you who are mourning loved ones, I'm thinking about you.

I'll be back later.

Morning all!

Yesterday's radio interview seemed to go well. I don't know if I'll even get to hear it though, as the station that interviewed us was a small one in a large country town, so I don't know if we'll even get a link.

On a brighter note, I got a message late yesterday that we need to do another interview today, this time for The Courier-Mail, which is Brisbane's major newspaper! That's pretty exciting! I hope it gets in!

Yes, it's been sad here lately, with news about Caryn soon to lose her parent and Christina's dad passing away. Love to everyone.

Hi everyone.

Had a strange day at work. Everything was OK except for one point where I had to take like 4 phone calls at the same time at one point and one of them involved a report that I had to try and fill out while fielding the other calls. Just another reminder that I can't wait until November.

At least everything is done for the dance tomorrow night. All I have to do is get some stuff done tonight that I didn't last night and other stuff, too. And I don't have a ton of time to get it all done in. I also have F1 practice that I want to watch tonight and dinner, which is important, because not only is that were I'll be getting something for my lunch tomorrow, but other than my lunch today at work, I've hardly eaten anything for the past day in a half.

So I have that to get done and still get some sleep. I'll be up and getting ready for work shortly after 8:00 tomorrow morning and I won't be home until after 8:00 tomorrow night. Thank god that this weekend is a three day weekend.

I'll be back later :)

Hey everybody...

TGIF!!!!!
My dad's birthday today! We weren't planning on visiting my parents this weekend as we went there last weekend but as a surprise I'm driving over after work to celebrate his bday with him. Even bought a present!!! I hope he will be surprised.

Did you girls see Kellan's new movie's trailer, the Hercules movie??? Just watch!!!! :swoon:

There isn't much Rob news, besides from the dating gossip that turns up after each weekend. I guess weekends in Hollywood are boring, the papz have time to make a lot of stuff up... I guess Rob's busy preparing for his next job.

alright, let's see if I can catch up again.

Lynne, what a amazing idea to do a radio interview! With your dad, it must have been fun to do. Did you get reactions to it already?

Susie, I'm feeling better now, it took at least 3 days to get the stress attack out of my system but I felt better as soon as I got home. Somehow the noises that are around my parents place and my worries for the kittens had me in quite a state.
I saw your FB question but I'll reply tonight or tomorrow as I do not have access to FB without my laptop. I can't seem to get it to work on the phone...
I'm sorry to hear about the rejections on your book... I really hope you find an agent to work with you!!! I really want to see this published so that I can read the whole thing.

Sean, I can't believe you don't like phone call at your job, are it all bad customers? I actually love getting calls, they break the boring computer work every now and then.

Sarah, those last few pounds are always the hardest!! Good luck!

Alright I'm off, have to finish some work before I'm going to my dad...
These violent delights, have violent endings...Like fire and gunpowder, they consume what they kiss

Speaking of sadness, I got in a car accident yesterday. I'm fine, the car is fine, just damaged on the front end (the engine sounded fine and I was able to drive it to the collision center nearby), it was just a hell of a way to start the weekend. I had just gotten off work and was all excited for it being Friday, then thought the guy in front of me inch forward but he didn't. Crunch.

So now I'm just discouraged about driving and life in general..I think I'll feel better once I know for sure the car isn't going to be totaled because I really love that beast!

Lynne-oh absolutely you inspire me. A lot of times, it's your words that keeps motivated to try and least add a few sentences to the story every day. Do you get inspired by other authors? I noticed you read more than almost any other person I know and I wondered if that had something to do with the fact that you're an author yourself.

Congrats on the radio interviews!! How exciting!

Marielle-thanks :) I can actually fit into the bridesmaids dress now and it fits pretty well, just can see a few unpleasant areas that need toning. Have fun with your dad!! I'm sure he'll feel loved!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I had a writers' conference to attend. It was a great day. It was fun networking with everyone. A lot of our Wombat Books' authors were there and it was great to see a lot of people who came from interstate.

The intereview with The Courier-Mail went well. I hope it makes it in!

marielle - I hope your dad had a great time on his birthday. No, I haven't heard any reactions to the interview as yet. It will be interesting to see what comes of it.

Sarah - i'm glad it here you're okay after the accident. They're scary. I do get inspired by other authors, especially when they struggle with the same things I struggle with. It's good to know I'm not the only one.

Hi everyone.

I went to the dance last night, and I didn't really enjoy it. I was already stressed out because of work, and the noise and feeling stressed around people who I didn't know didn't work out too well for me. So that'll be the last dance I go to for a while.

I haven't felt well at all for the past several days, and I think that work, having a lot on my mind, and this time of year has just started to really wear me down. So next time I visit my doctor, I'm going to see about having him put me on some anxiety medication. Yesterday just felt like an ongoing panic attack, and I still don't feel well today.

Only good thing that that happened yesterday was that Tracy and her husband attended the dance and I got to talk to them for a few minutes, but that was all I could manage with how I felt.

I did get a hair cut today and I tried out this place called Roosters, which is a poultry meal place, and I liked what I had. But between that and Walmart for various things, I'm now basically broke.

I hope to visit the library next week, and now I know that I'll have a new job in Nov., because the equipment that's needed for my new job has been ordered. I just have to survive my current job. This week just has taken a lot out of me. At least this is a 3 day weekend and I only have to work two days next week.

I'll be back later.
