Hi everyone.

As far as an update about yesterday, well, I didn't do much. I went to sleep at about 6:30 and didn't get up until about 5:00 this morning. So that means no work on fan fic or anything last night.

I do have plans on working on it tonight, and I also have James May's Man Lab tonight and I hope today or tomorrow to watch something I've had my brother save on his DVR.

As far as anything else, the only other thing I can update is Audi testing at Sebring, and there's not much as far as that goes yet.

I'll be back later :)

Work went well yesterday, although Rochelle and I were sitting next to each other, each editing separate novels and groaning continually at the way the authors had chosen to put something. It was quite funny!

Today I have grocery shopping and a lot of other little stuff to do. I'm still making my way through The Reign. I should have it finished by Thursday.

Hi everyone.

I've gotten quite a bit done today so far. Soon, I'll be taking a nap and then I'll probably work on fan fic and such.

OK, so I haven't gotten much done overall done today, but I did get quite a bit done early so I can have the rest of the day to do what I want as I please :)

I'll be back later :)

Off to work for Rochelle again today. It's my last day working for her this year. She already has three days lined up for me in January, which surprised me, considering it wasn't so long ago that she said that she didn't have much work for me and the fact that our kids will be on holidays. Never mind. Little Man can play with her son while I work.

I'm going well with The Reign. Rewrote another scene last night. I'd done a bit too much 'telling' rather than 'showing'. Hopefully it is now good enough. I may finish the edit this evening, if not, then tomorrow. Then I can send it back to her for the next edits. It shouldn't return to me until after Christmas.

Hey everyone,

I can't believe Christmas is just two weeks away! I spent the evening selecting photos for little photo books I'm putting together for my grandma and aunts, since I never know what to get them! I'm trying to get all the projects done that involve mailing :)

Lynne-wow, last day of work already? You must have a long holiday! I'm glad to hear the edits of The Reign are going well!

Hi everyone.

I actually didn't get much done yesterday after I got offline. I was so tired by 6:00 that I went to sleep until just before 7:00 this morning.

It's winter, so that means that it's dark and cold, and that means that I don't have a lot of energy or feel like doing much when it's as cold as it is here today. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be even colder, and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow that I wish that I could re-schedule so I wouldn't have to go out tomorrow.

So, yeah, things kinda suck right now. I just don't have much energy and I just feel like sleeping all the time now.

I'll be back later, and hopefully my mood will improve.

Hi again everyone.

I'm in a better mood now. I was able to thaw out a water pipe at home, the fire in the wood stove is burning pretty good, and aside from it still being cold and kinda gloomy outside, I'm in a much better mood now.

Of course, this also helped:

And there's more photos here:

Won't be until the 18th before we get some good photos.

I'm still ticked because it's cold enough to make a high temp during the day above freezing seem hot, and not being able to work on fan fic, but for sure tomorrow night, I hope to be able to resume my work.

I'll be back later :)

Today I FINALLY have a quiet day! Not much to report. Little Man finishes school tomorrow and will be off for the next six weeks. We go to Melbourne next Tuesday. :)

Sarah - It more depends on whether Rochelle has work and can afford to pay me. The next time I work for her will be Wednesday 8th January.

Hi everyone.

I feel kinda like crap right now and I do have a doctor's appointment later today. It's still cold and it sucks to the point where I'll be seeing tomorrow's high temperature as a heat wave.

But at least I found this this morning:

I hope that I'll be back to writing fan fic once the weather stabilizes and I feel a bit better.

I'll be back later :)

Feeling loopy. I managed to catch a flu bug. I was doing so well staying healthy through all the stress of our choir concert, MM's birthday and Sinterklaas, etc....then Tuesday my voice felt a bit forced and I went to choir and lipsynced my way through it until we did the one song we don't have quite down yet. We have a show next week that will be on the radio and the 2nd hour will be videoed and put on youtube, so we need to be good and people are not listening to the music. So I feel like I have to shout the right notes (I'm the only sight reader) and I overdid it and now I have almost no voice. But I felt fine until yesterday. Now I'm headachy and have a slight fever and I'm loopy. I also have "fever dreams"...you know...the really vivid wacky dreams you get when you are sick? I had a dream in which I was someone totally different and it was SO heartbreaking because I was in love with my best friend, who was in love with me, but I didn't know it and he didn't know I was in love with him. He was a musician and he was offered a dream opportunity to go on tour with a famous band and I told him he HAD to do it, he couldn't pass it up. Only he thought I saw that he was in love with me and was trying to get him away from me for a while so I didn't have to deal with it. So he told me he was never coming back, and I thought it was because HE didn't want to be with me and thought I was too obsessed with him. I had a son who was just a toddler and my best friend had always been a father figure to my son. My friend didn't want to come back and find the woman he loved married to some loser who was being a crappy father to the boy HE considered HIS son, even though he wasn't. But I didn't KNOW that was why he didn't want to come back...I had no idea how he felt. We had a very...New Moon-ish farewell scene. It was really such a sad sad dream. When I woke up, it felt like I had really been left by my best friend and it was really painfully real.

Lynne, is it a good thing to have some time off? Or would you rather be working more? I saw on FB about Little Man's report. That is fantastic!! We don't get reports until February or March! But I guess your school year is different, right? You now have summer break?
Good luck with your edits!! I'm anxiously awaiting the release!

Sarah, I know!! Christmas seems to be rushing in this year! Next week is the kids' Christmas dinner at school. I need to make Pizza...I haven't made it in YEARS. I am going to make little pizzas in Christmas shapes like trees and snowmen and gingerbread men, etc. This year, they made a menu and each parent got to pick one of the ornaments on the tree and make the dish that's written on that ornament. So I have Pizza for MM's and Fudge for Bug's, but Bug says they will put everything in the hall for all the kids to eat anyway, so I'm really making them for both classes.

Sean, stay warm!
