ever notice that channels like hbo and showtime dont have a problem with renewing seasons of shows.. but fox and abc and nbc SUCK AT IT! it makes me happy to know we will have a second season.. love the show looovee it

Hey lynzee,
your totally right about those other Networks, I just read an article where Lombardo the president of HBO said, he wanted to annouce the renewal of True Blood ASAP, becuase "it sends the message that its ok to get hooked on this show, becuase there will a second season". I like his thinking. I love knowing that its sticking around. Im so happy with HBO,

i think i just squealed in excitement! lol
i hate how all the basic station never renew their series. epic fail.

Has anyone here seen Six Feet Under? True Blood is made by the same people who made the series, and I loved Six Feet Under! Are there any similiarities in the style? I can't watch True Blood because I don't have HBO, but I'm just going to work on finding it online or waiting for the DVD release.

i loved six feet under so i can see the similar filming styles as well as the incredible dark humor

I just watched the first episode and the show is...very interesting. I can't tell if it will turn into an obsession yet, but it's fascinating and shares some strange similarities with Twilight. Has anyone here read the Southern Vampire Series?
