I was so disappointed because it seemed like at times the acustics were really horrible, Taylor Swift and the first act (Brad Paisly) were really poor and i don't belive it was there voices. All in all i was just very let down.
I think Taylor might have had a cold or something, because she was on Ellen a couple of days ago, and she sounded great!
I loved the CMA's (especially Carrie Underwood's performance. I loved how she won Female Vocalist. ). The only thing I really didn't like was that Sugarland won a couple awards. I'm sorry but I REALLY don't like them.

AH!
I found a country forum! Around here, the people who really like country music are few and far between, so I'm really excited that I found a topic about country!
Heehee...people who might actually get my banner....
xXBeSafeXx - I love your banner
Vampluv78 - I still don't like her, but "love story" is growing on me.
Talirhee- Brad Paisley Yay! Have you heard this? Oh, I love your avvie so much! Is that Jackson Rathbone or somebody else?

i used to like Taylor but now EVERYONE is obsessed with her so it gets annoying. and her new cd isn't even country. there was an article on theboot.com about how Universal Record approached her and she has officially crossed over to pop and she'll be headlining her own tour in Australia to promote it. it's a shame, because i think she's just seeing dollar signs anymore and she'll be blown over when the next big thing comes around. people in the pop/rock/r&b etc.. are so fickle. at least country music has loyal fans that's why artists like toby keith, george strait, alan jackson etc.. have been around for so long
They compared her to Miley Cyrus. I hate Miley Cyrus. She can't sing, can't act, and is highly irritating. She got where she is by riding on her dad's coattails and marketing to 10 year olds who all they watch is Disney Channel, so they don't know better.
It sickens me that they are going to re-mix songs that were already hits, not to mention already controversial with so many people saying they are pop, to make them MORE pop-y.
I liked Taylor Swift a lot. She's very determined, a talented songwriter, and the first young person in country music in quite a while. But let me tell you, if this album in 2009 happens, she's not getting any more of my money. Ugh. Teeny-boppers. Bubble-gum pop. Ew.
