I recently found an up-and-coming band, who is called There For Tommorow, that just put out their first EP on Hopeless Records. (The other one was self-produced and sold.) I urge everybody to check them out, fall in love, and then go see them live. (I have the GK Fest date checked on my calender!)

Also, two days ago I went and saw Hawthorne Heights, an incredibly talented and strong-willed band. I got to meet them at an acoustic pre-show, and they were all completely down-to-Earth and sweet. The live show, which was on November 26th, boosted my obsession a great deal. Their third album, Fragile Future, came out earlier this summer. They're defiantly worth your time.

Some of my other other favorites include My Chemical Romance (otherwise known as the band that saved my life), AFI, Iron Maiden, and Queen. For a rather complete list you can check out my [Last.fm Library]. (Note: All except one band, they are all rock.)

Hmmm. Music to recommend?

# AFI - This is my all-time favorite band. Their music helped me through so much crap a few years back. Their older music and their newer music is very different, but both can be appreciated
# Corinne Bailey Rae - She has such a soothing voice.
# Joss Stone - Wow. Powerful.
# Boys Like Girls - Ahem. Probably one of the more 'emo' bands that I like. xD The lyrics are sad but incredibly beautiful.
# Anna Nalick - She has not only a beautiful VOICE but a power with LYRICS. You can tell she sings and writes from the heart.
# Within Temptation - Ohmygoodness. The vocals are AMAZING.
# Radiohead - Um, duh? Lol.
# Saving Jane - Another band that just has such a way with words. They're amazing.
# Rammstein - Whatever you do, don't translate their lyrics. Hah. It makes you feel less dirty for liking them.

Rammstein = awesome but yes the lyrics are always gross. Most of their songs are about things i don't even want to think about. MEIN HERZ BRENNT for twilight. Okay thats lame...sue me.
