Paramore is an awesome band. Why? Because I believe every song has a message and the rhythms are cool. My favorite song is called THE ONLY EXCEPTION. Three cheers if you love that song........

Agreed!! gah i used to but its been so overplayed now i can't really listen to it all that much when i saw them at wembley a guy proposed to his girlfriend just before they did that song, it was soo cute.

I am SO glad I found this thread! I've been a huge fan forever even before they wrote for Twilight, I thought all of there songs fit the Twilight series perfectly. My Twilight playlist was full of Paramore! I could literally relate evry single lyric to the series, and I got into them around the same time I got into Twilight (middle school, good times ) so the initial obsession with both was pretty intense ...and I heard mention of The Only Exception? Beautiful song, unbelievably sweet!

same got their first album all we know is falling when it first came out and have loved them ever since, its just a bonus that they did a couple of songs on the first film adaptation of my favourite book series.

What do you all think of their latest music video, Playing God?
I loved it. It seemed like a sequel to Ignorance, which makes some sense. It did seem like they didn't put the whole... theme (is that the word I'm looking for?) in the video. The song, to me, means shoving your religion or your beliefs down someone's throat, or making them try to believe everything you do. This video didn't really seem to show that. Unless you interpret it as Hayley trying to get the guys of Paramore to believe what she wants them too. I didn't really interpret it that way, however, I still loved this video.
Also, Are you excited for their new album?
In a recent interview, Hayley and Taylor said that leaving Brand New Eyes behind was "bittersweet" but they are taking a break for a while to write for a new album, that will hopefully be released in 2011. If it is going to be released next year, I am extremely excited, and cannot wait for this album to come out. Every album so far seems to be just a little better than the last.
Don't get me wrong, RIOT! was an extraordinary album, but Brand New Eyes showed how they are growing up, and it had a mix of emotions on that album as well. I love seeing both sides to Paramore though, and can only wonder what will be on their next album.

Did you guys here about this? What a bummer! Josh & Zac are leaving the band. The other 3 are going to stay together. I wonder what will happen now?

I think it's the most confusing situation ever. Josh posted something on his blog, and Hayley posted something on Paramore.net and it's very confusing.
I am sad that they are leaving though.

Waaa I can't belive they are leaving. Paramore won't be the same without them...
But, to be honest, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with commercialism. I think that slowly and gradually they become more popish and more into that industry.
Look at Playing God clip. It tottally reminded me of Lady Gaga. And everyone cut their hair and had a new image, not that I complain. That way I can finally see how incredibly hot Jermy is ♥
But still, I think that they got tired of it or had arguments about it with the band and decided not to sell their value for music for money.
I'm not saying the members of the band that are left want money more than music and I don't think they commersialized like other bands... like My chemical romance (:cry:) but they are heading there...
That is just what I think...
