One of the best casting decisions in my opinion! In the Twilight Tuesday interviews, he was totally into the character, and showing a real passion for it. Seeing that made me feel a little more relaxed about the thought of a Twilight movie, if (hopefully) all the cast has the same enthusiasm for the story as he's showing.
And also, need I mention his accent...?

I had actually never seen him in anything besides Disney 411! I've been watching random things on youtube and he seems like a really good choice.

He's going to be in the sequal to Donnie Darko. I don't know much about his part but I know his character is named Jeremy. I can't wait though.

And yes, I think he is a perfect Jasper (even though he looks like Hyde from the 70's show *bailey*)

I actually pictured him differently maybe its the hair. He looks like a good choice.

When I read the books the jasper i had in mind was much more different
but i'm glad with choice cause its soooo much better than what imagined

I don't think he will have scars in the movie because Bella can't see the scars while she's still human, plus we're not supposed to know about them yet :]
