Kellan Lutz as Emmett

Emmett is my fave character and the fact that Kellan is playing him is just...wow...awsome!!
He's totally like Emmett and I can't think of anyone better for that role than Kellan! I'm gonna PMSL when I'm gonna watch the movie just because of him!

my fav character is emmet, so u can guess i'm on team emmet! (in the bigger picture, team edward!) kellan really fits the part and stephenie even said he was as close as u could get to hugging a vampire!!!

Hey if you are Team Emmett come check out the EDC thread. We all love Emmett and Kellan and think they are both the shiznet.

I think that Kellan is the perfect Emmett, after listening to and reading interviews that he's done, he has the spirit and fun loving attitude to play Emmett.

He doesn't take himself to seriously and in some ways I think he relates to Emmett.

Yeah, he is the one that most fits from the hole cast. He is so hot and perfectly resembles Emmet's description

I hope we get to see the goofy, jocular side of Emmett onscreen.

I don't think we have to worry about that because in interviews Kelland said that he liked playing Emmett and that he hopes he can play him throught the series.

I think Kellan has somewhat the same attitude as Emmett so,I think this in one character/actor relationship that is right on.

I saw a poster of the cast in Spencers and when i saw "Emmett" i was like yup thats him

No curls for Emmett in this movie. Kellan had just finished up shooting Generation Kill on HBO so being that it's a show about soldiers, his hair was cut and from what I read no time to grow out the curls.

So maybe in the next movie, if they let Kellan continue as Emmett (which I hope they do) maybe we will see the curls but I doubt it since they are suppose to be frozen in time.

Who knows?

I like his curls, but honestly i'd be mad if they had anybody's hair grow out for NM. That wouldn't make sense at all. I hope they think of that.

KELLAN IS AWESOME... he has Emmett's spirit too... and it's awesome to see how much he is embracing this experience and just loving every part of it. I just imagine him during the scene from Breaking Dawn where Bella beats him at arm wrestling and I chuckle.

I wish that his hair was longer for Twilight... I wonder if they will let him grow it out a little for the rest, or if they stay true to the "you never change after you turn vamp" thing.

Has anyone seen Generation Kill? It's coming out on DVD in December. It's totally on my Netflix list - can't wait to see it!
