Kellan is perfect! When I saw that he was Emmet everything just clicked. He IS Emmett

I just feel the need to say that Kellan Lutz might be one of the funniest people ever. That's pretty much it.

Does anyone know which actor they had originally cast as Emmett? It said so on Wikipedia that initially there was someone else, but he "fell through" (direct quote). There was a Twilight Tuesday interview with Kellan Lutz where he said the same thing.

I think Kellan Lutz and Emmett have a lot in common. You can tell he loves the role, so that's great. He doesn't really look like how I imagined Emmett, but I have a feeling that he can pull the character off.

the only thing is i think that he looks sexier with blonde hair like he has in 90210. but then again the character emmett is meant to be dark haired so it would not work with the story of twilight if they change what the characters look like.

if anyone has seen the clip from the film festival where edward takes bella back to his house to meet his family and emmett is just so funny if you see him in the background.

aaaaaah!!! i love that scene!! Emmett was hilarious!! he waved at Bella with the knife in his hand. and he looked huge beside Esme! which is good, cos they got that one right!

my fav character is emmet, so u can guess i'm on team emmet! (and team jasper!) kellan really fits the part and stephenie even said he was as close as u could get to hugging a vampire!!!
