She did know Catherine H, they worked together in Thirteen, but I don't think that's the only reason she got the part.
I think she's great as Rose - they could have picked a much worse person. I think she is beautiful, but obviously she can't be the best looking person ever.
I want to see her in NM and Eclipse, telling her story.

Given the indie way this film was put together, I think CH was the main reason she got the film. I agree she killed the role but it was her insider friendships that got her the role.
By the way, Nikki is the Italian sports car of the cast, all the curves in the right places...

I watched a tad bit of Mini's First Time last night. She was brilliant in that.
She executes the bad girl perfectly. Too bad Rosalie is too poised for that type of behavior.
But she was really good in it. I suggest heading to Netflix now. : )

What do you guys think if Evan Rachel Wood would have been casted to play Rosalie? Do you thing Nikki fits better for the part?

I think Wood has the looks, but Nikki has the attitude, she can be more of a drama queen, like rosalie

I think Nikki personified Rosalies qualities. I think that they could have done better with her hair. I think that they could have done all the make up better. So I hope that the next movies will be better. And Nikki don't go back to brown these movies are coming back to back and it will ruin your hair.

If you seem any of the production/behind the scenes pics of NM, she has a wig this time. The makeup looks to be better too. We won't know till we see a trailor if it looks better on film or not...keep your fingers crossed

I def like the wig better. No roots!p
