Honestly, I don't think she's anywhere near pretty enough to play Rosalie. She's pretty, but she's not gorgeous. Rosalie is supposed to basically be the most stunning girl in the world. Nikki Reed is average in my opinion.
The casting directors could have done SO much better. I could find tons of girls just from my school, not to mention from all the actresses in the world, that could play Rosalie so much better.

^seee.. thats how i felt, too. in the few pictures ive seen.. i dunno. her face just doesn't compare to the rosalie you'd imagine. but i really think she'll play the part fabulously.

So I know that Nikki wore a wig, but here is one pic (where I actually love how she looks!)

Then in this pic, there are like dark roots in her hair...weird

I kinda wonder if they tried to dye her first...then switched to a wig or what...

I wasn't sure who she even was. Then I watched Thirteen last night because I knew she was in it. It's quite odd she's the same girl that played Evie but I like her. And I didn't know she was only like 20. She looks older with her blonde hair. Shes a year and a day older than me and I thought she was like 4 years older. Ha, but thats not the point. I'm excited to see what she can do with Rosalie. I think she was good in Thirteen but Rosalie is so much different so I can't wait to see how she is. I like her now. She seems cool from the interviews.

I just cant picture Nicky as Rosalie. First of all she looks too old to play her. She looks 28 and Roslaie if I'm exactly right is supposed to be 18. She doesnt look at all like I pictured her so...... And I dont know if anyone here agrees with me but Doesnt she look OLDER than Emmet??????? :? I dont know its just not how I pictured Rosalie...... I hope I can get used to her because I dont want to watch the movie and be like "ugh... She is so wrong for this part!":( Hopefully she acts good....:)

Nikki Reed is not your average beautiful girl. But personally, I think she's stunning.

If you think of Twilight, SM describes all the Cullens and the Hale's like this god-like people.
So perfect, and gorgeous and stunning. There's no such thing. Even Rob in all his hotness and charm, is not exactly the GORGEOUS Edward I pictured, but whatever.. I can have Rob anytime.

Nikki is gorgeous in my opinion. Maybe because we are women we set all these high standars for her. But probably guys think she's gorgeous.

Personally, I think Nikki Reed is extremely beautiful. In more of a unique and natural way though. She doesnt look "fake" like many of the girls I know who try way too hard. She doesnt load tons of make up either which I like. I think she could play Rosalie really well, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see. ;)

I agree about not needing makeup...she is a natural beauty and so is Rose...and to be honest, anyone who was picked probably wouldn't live up to Rosalie...she is supposedly the most beautiful woman ever...and she had to become a vampire to have that happen...

I think she's wearing a little too much makeup actually. it doesn't look natural, and to be honest...it doesn't achieve much either. This sounds harsh, but I feel that nepotism is what got Nikki the part. If that's the right word. I'm sure she's a good actress, but at this point, it doesn't matter for Rosalie.

The character's most defining trait is her appearance and not personality. Which is what I believe should be brought out...and that doesn't really need a good actress. I mean, how hard would it have been to find a natural blonde to play the part?

If Nikki Reed had to be in the film so bad, she could have played Jessica or someone. I'll be frank. She's not pretty enough to play Rosalie.
