I tried not to post till we got a new thread, but i couldn't wait any longer lol, Chloe I pm'd you!

I feel that the casting director found fairly accurate depictions for all of the roles with the exception of most of the wolf-packers, especially Jacob. NUMEROUS times in book 1 and 2 Jacob is described as having brown "russet" skin. This is mentioned often as Bella seems to admire it. The descriptions of some of the other Native American characters also describe them as being "dark brown". Looking at the cast list, it almost appears as though the casting director found the LIGHTEST complected Native American actors that could be found... why, when their appearance so GLARINGLY goes against the descriptions in the book.
