I know I'm not alone on this but I thought Solomon deserved the role. He really worked for the part but again I will wait and see about this one.
He is NA so that's good. He does seem more muscular than Solomon too.

He has to be my second favorite...right behind Alex who's slated to play Paul...yum!!!

They are both very good looking!! And I'm glad he's going to play Sam. Nothing against Solomon, I thought he put a lot into the role and I'm sorry he wasn't called back, but Chaske looks a lot like what I had picture Sam to look like in my mond while reading the books. I guess, ultimately, it will come down to acting skills and we won't know that until the movie is out.

He's not at all how I imagined him, and I think Soloman was good for the role of Sam. I don't really like it when actors are changed ... so I hope he's good as Sam.

Physically he's a good pick, so I hope his acting matches up as well. And it would be great if he would research and get into it as much as Solomon did.

He actually looks more the part of Sam than Solomon did, but I did like Sol. Chaske has that dark, ominous look that Sam has in NM. He should do well.

If you think about it though, in the movie it was never said that Solomon was Sam. I mean, I know he was technically Sam, but it never said he was, so I'm a lot more open to Chaske as Sam than I would if like Taylor wasn't Jacob anymore.

He looks more intense and more appropriate for the darker, NM Sam than Solomon did. Solomon almost looked too... nice.
