Just had to swing in to the old haunt for just a minute to wish Mr. Robert Thomas Pattinson a very very happy birthday. In so many ways, it feels like he's grown up before our eyes to become the sweet and wonderful man he is today. That he's managed to remain so, despite the level of insanity around him at times is nothing short of amazing. So, Happy Birthday, Rob. I dearly hope that it is everything you wish for and so much more.

Not sure I agree that his makeup was the best in Eclipse. I didn't think it was too bad in Twilight, although I thought Kristen was a bit too pale there! I didn't like their eyes in Eclipse either.

I must confess, though, I'm delighted with what I've seen of his look so far in BD. It looks great. He looks pale, but not in a fake way, and it's a contrast to Bella (I think they've darkened her up a bit to contrast when she become a vampire), and his eyes are nice. And finally, they've got the colour of his hair right!

I'm a fan of Rob as Edward so hopefully people come back to post lol!

Aren't we all. He's such a gift in that role. I honestly cannot imagine anyone else doing Edward any justice.

Rob is the perfect Edward and I can't imagine anyone else playing that role! It's funny because while I was reading the books I pictured Edward with a British accent and it so happened to be that the actor has one even if he doesn't use it as Edward
