Wow! I must have been half-asleep when I looked at the "Eclipse" IMDB page in the past, not to have seen Catalina in the cast. I am very impressed. I can assure everyone here, Catalina can definitely act; check out her amazing performance in Maria Full of Grace, for which she was a very worthy Best Actress nominee (the first ever Best Actress nominee for a foreign language performance, I believe).

The fact that she is playing Maria seems to indicate that the "Eclipse" segment on Jasper's history is going to be relatively prominent in the movie--I can't imagine that they'd cast Catalina if it was only for a 30-second cameo.

I'm really fine with her playing Maria. I didn't really have an image of Maria in my mind, so any good looking actress would've been fine by me. So, I'll see how she does in the movie. I'm really looking forward to Jasper's flashback.
