Mia Maestro is an Argentine actress who is probably best known in the US for her recurring role on "Alias" as Nadia Santos. I have Secuestro Express, in which she was one of the leads, near the top of my Netflix queue; I'll probably get it sometime next week and I'll let everyone know what I think of her performance.

I watched Mia in Secuestro Express a few nights ago, and was very impressed with her performance. She's the lead in that film, and she plays a character who is basically sympathetic and rather gentle, but has some steel in her backbone when needed. I think that makes her a very good choice for Carmen.
