He does not look like the Carlisle I imagined, but well, Peter is not to shabby either.

Hope the movie turns out good!

I didn't imagine him to look the way Peter Facinelli does, either, but they can't get everything exactly right. Anyway, he's definitely grown on me - I can definitely see him as Carlisle now and I'm more and more excited about it every day! : D His blond hair just looks fantastic, and it's disheveled in the way that I pictured Carlisle's hair would be. Ughh. <333

He's definately different in Can't Hardly Wait. Hopefully he doesn't act that way in the movie. I highly doubt he would. I get what you mean about AMAN-DUH. I liked the part when she totally rejected him after he realized he shouldn't have. He was a total jerk.

His look is definitely right for Carlisle. He reminds me of Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but much less brooding and evil. He's got that youthful look to his face, but you can still tell he's older than the rest of the family.

He makes my heart go pitter-patter.
That's a good thing. He's supposed to be the most handsome of the Cullens...except for Edward, of course!

LOL! I agree. No one can be handsomer than EDward.

Im liking Peter as Carlisle. Obviously he is a bit older than Carlisle, but I think it would of looked a bit off (especially to those who havent read the books) for them to cast an actualy 23 y.o as Carlisle (who everyone will see as the father) I think Peter has a really fatherly quality to him and will do a great job.

Dr.s usually wear just buisness attire, or a lab coat over buisness attire...If they are residents/interns, they wear scrubs.
