In a recent interview Solomon said he hadn't heard from anyone regarding New Moon, as of the 25th of Feb. So chances really aren't good...

Team Solomon also hasn't given up. We are not giving up until the character of Sam has started filming.

We have email addresses to where fans can write to the casting people. Please take a few moments to write them telling them that they should keep Solomon in the movie. Here are the email addresses. Write a letter and send it to all of them. Please do this ASAP. We don't have much time. Thanks!!

You think that even if he isn't Sam, he could be in the cast?

i didn't think he was good looking enough to be sam....but that's just my opinion.

I so love him as Sam - he just has the perfect "character" - but can imagine him making a good Quil, playing on the beach with Clare in Eclipse... *sigh*

I think it's really sad he's not going to be in NM. I heard to prepare for his TWO lines in Twilight he researched the Quillete's & even learned some of their language. Now that's dedication! That really stinks he won't be coming back I really wish he would. I thought he made a good Sam. What is Summit doing?
