Solomon Trimble as Sam Uley in Twilight

You all seem to be extremely persuasive! I walked into this thread convinced I would not like Solomon Trimble as Sam, but wow...I can kind of see it now! I didn't know he had put that much effort into the role, but I'm really impressed. Actually, with Taylor and Solomon, I have been very impressed. Ahhh, the youth of today...it's a wonderful thing!

Yes, I didn't like Solomon as Sam at first, but after hearing how he is dedicated and loves the role of Sam. You gotta love the guy right??

He's so funny! There was this one interview of him (i'll try and find it) where he was like "Metallica rocks! In your face, Krys!" and then later they asked him "Were there any embarrassing moments on the set of Twilight?" and he answered "Well I wasn't on set for very long, so the only embarrassing thing that happened while I was there was when Krys admitted he likes Iron Maiden! (Yes! That's two!)"

So definitely not how I pictured Sam, mostly due to the hair. The hair on all of the Quiletes was just horrible! He didn't have much of a part in Twilight, so I don't know about his acting skills yet. From that one line he delivered though, it was hard for me to picture him as an Alpha. He didn't seem...like a leader at all, not very angry at the Cullens or anything.
I don't know...I don't really care what happens, I just hate it when they switch actors in movies. I'm kinda indifferent about the whole Solomon/Sam thing.

Lol, I'm not usually one for long hair - and it's no Edward "sex" hair, of course - but did you see Sol playing with it at the premiere? Yum! ...Although, he's apparently cut it and donated to "Locks for Love" - bless!

Oh, well that was nice of him. I didn't see him at the premiere though, I hardly watched anything from the premiere.

Solomon is AMAZING. He did so much for the role of Sam and I don't think anyone else would be as dedicated to it as he is. Also, I wish he hadn't had to cut his hair because I loved it. But then, I'm just partial to guys with long hair. FYI lorabell----I think it's JACKSON/JASPER who has the "sex" hair! *swoons*
