I was just surprised, but god how I love his role in the movie. :)
At first I was surprised also, but I really liked both Erics - the one in the book, and also the one in the movie. Yes, they are both very different IMO, but they are great characters nonetheless.

Yeah, movie Eric and book Eric don't seem to be the same person. lol Movie Eric was hilarious though and I did make the comment once to my friend that he was the stoner of the group. haha I thought it was cool he was asian though...it is the northwest after all. I live up here and there is a large population of asian americans, so I thought it was a good idea. :)

Yup - saw it again today... and all I wanted was to take a shears to that kid's head and cut that silly hair off! :) But still love him...

lol yeah, he needed a hair cut...but a lot of highschool boys wear their hair like that right now. Why is everyone seeing the movie so much and I am not?? It makes me so sad. I need to go again!

i'm glad they made the cast diverse but would Forks really be that diverse? small towns usually aren't. And ps, he was so flamboant I had a hard time believing he even liked girls :(

Maybe that's why Angela had to ask him to prom!
Yeah, I felt like Forks wouldn't really be that diverse either. Some critics say it's better than the book that it's diverse, but how realistic is it? Justin was fine, I guess. *shrugs*

Okay, so I haven't been to Forks but I live up here like I said in another post and there is a large population of asians so it's possible. :) He was funny, not what I imagined but very funny.

Ya i was surprised when i saw him as Eric.... If his last name was yorkie, i imagined him as a kinda hiked-up-pants-tucked-in-shirt kid with glasses and a stutter and almost baldish brown hair..... but whatever i will get used to it.

that's what i thought! the part where they were at La Push and Jessica brought up Edward and Eric was like "date? what date?" that was kinda weird and the part when he was saying "La Push baby, it's Laaa Puush" :? but i still think he was too cute to be Eric anyways
