I have 2 copies of every book, well not BD but thats ok. I have a copy to loan and to read and a copy to well look at and get signed. (I have Twilight and Eclipse signed!!!, Those ones cannot be read and destroyed like my other Twilight copy where it has doodles within the book and the corners worn away.
I have a favorite section on my bookshelf (the middle shelf) with all my harry potter books and Twilight books. It's quite the sacred area. And I hate taking my books to school because they get more ruined within my binder when they slip and slide everywhere.

I do too!! My friends ALWAYS ask to barrow my copy of Twilight, and the first time a lent it to a friend and she RUINED it! She spilt coffee all over it... It made me sooo mad!

I put mine on the top shelf of my bookcase with my Harry Potter books too. :)

Well my copy of Twilight and Breaking Dawn are in my room; both on my bed-side table. :)

And my copy of New Moon and Eclipse are in my school locker; in case I feel like reading one of the books instead of working. XD

Even though this might be irrelevant...but my locker has my school books and around 6 or 7 vampire related books...Twilight has made me totally obsessed with anything to do with vampires. :)

We have a built in bookcase in our living room. Our home is all black and white... I mean everything including our pictures. It is a very english cottage with some modern influences all stark white walls. Anyway... this little built in is painted black in the background and the shelves are all painted white. It really makes things stand out. So I have peppered the interior with pictures in frames of our family... Keepsakes that mean something to us.... and finally all four of the books are very happily situated on the shelf. I am a perfectionist so they are in order.. and at first it bothered me that the artwork was all in red... but now I think it looks fabulous and makes a bit of a conversation piece... when I haven't grabbed one off the shelf to reread my favorite part.
I sound so type A.... ugh that is probably because I am!!!! :D

Twilight and New Moon are at my mother-in-law's house - I'm loaning them to her since I told her she HAS to read the saga...hehe. Eclipse is on my dresser and Breaking Dawn is on the bar in the kitchen, so I can see it every time I walk by! Like many of you, I read the books quickly - TOO quickly, so I tried my best to drag out Breaking Dawn. I read about 80% of the book on Labor Day and then painfully withheld reading it for days and days, finally finishing it up last Friday night, when Ike hit us. Luckily I was sick and very tired the last week, so I was able to keep from reading it for the most part. I read Twilight in one day, New Moon in 2 and Eclipse I dragged out for about 4 days, I think. But alas, I'm all done now. I hope my MIL finishes Twilight up soon, cause I want to read it again...

Oh, I would take my books to work with me every day, and when I was nearly done with Breaking Dawn, I freakin' FORGOT it at my desk in my haste to get the hell out of there. I was soooo pissed!!!! I have a loooong drive home so I was fuming the whole way home. Oh, well...I was glad in a way, because I knew I needed to slow down so I could make it last longer. Sigh...obsessed. :ugeek:

i used to keep them on the very top shelf of one of my bookshelves, but since i joined this forum, i have moved them to a little stool beside my computer desk. that way i can reference them much easier.

ummm so the location of my books actually has a funny if not slightly crazed story behind it...

in my closet i had one bookcase that was completely full, in alphabetical order by author because i am that weird. then i had a box full of books next to the bookcase because i didn't have room for them on the bookshelf. anyway, shortly after i obtained breaking dawn, i realized that my first three books would end up on the middle shelf and breaking dawn would end up all by its lonesome on the bottom shelf. i decided this simply could not do so at like 3 am one night i cleared EVERYTHING out of my closet, went to the basement and found a second bookcase, and lugged it up two flights of stairs to my room. then i rearranged all my books for the sole purpose of having my four twilight saga books right next to each other, front and center of the top bookshelf.

sigh. now i can stare at them all the time. incidentally, my harry potter books are stacked vertically on the shelf just below them--it shows my two loves!

i have a bookshelf in my closet. that sounds weird, but really i do, and there's no doors on my closet (i have a thing with closets, i hate them, i need to see in them.) anyway, my paperback twilight is sitting on my bed right now, i read 3/4's of it this morning. lol. the hard cover one is in the bookshelf along with new moon and eclipse. breaking dawn is standing up all tall and proud on my desk cus it's pretty. lol. =]

and of course my lord of the rings is right next to those, and then my vampire chronicles. then just about every other book is kind of falling out of it, i have too many so the rest, other than the ones i said, are all just stacked up. and there's more under my bedside table. and i have extra copies of new moon and eclipse too, i'm set for life, lol.

Mine don't have a shelf.... my bookcases are all full and there's no logical place they could go...
But I like to sleep with my favourite books under my pillow... I don't know why, there's like eight under it at the moment.
But that's where they live. When i don't have them with me. They, this sounds so weird, comfort me.
Like when I was on a plane, I hugged Twilight for the entire landing and taking of bit. *hangs head*
