I found a nicer and cheaper place... I'm going to go look at it next week i think... just to be sure...

the cost of the hall is 2000.00

This makes the price to get into that at 8.00 dollars a person...

Then for the catering i am estimating that about 10 - 15 dollars per person.... when i have some sample menues I'll post that up...

The dj will be a bout 5.00 dollars a person

Now I want to make goodie bags... but I don't know what I'd put in them... cause things are so expensive these days... maybe candy and twilight key chains or something twilight related... I think 15.00 a person would cover that... I think... if not I'll supplement if i'm able to

and there is a 4.00 dollar per person fee for the use of our photographer...

So the total of the ticket price would be between $42 and $47

but it includes everything of the above.

And there is a limited number of tickets available.

I will have more detail available soon.

I'm not sure when tickets will go on sale... Cause I'm still working out the kinks. There are about two or tree more. lol

50 a head...not as bad for a Twilight themed ball. I have to give you credit for planning all this basically on your own. *pat*

Because I spend my life on the computer... lol... well my night life... I managed to do a little shopping around and was able to find some candy in bulk... and I did a little shopping on Hot Topic... well window shopping...

So... as for candy and I hope this is a good mix...

Tootsie Pops
Brachs Assrt. ( Peppermint Star Brites, Butterscotch Discs, Ice Blue Mint Coolers, Cinnamon Discs, Special Treasures Golden Butter Toffee, and A&W Root Beer Barrels)
Tootsie Midges (the small tootsie rolls)
M&M Mars Chocolate Mix (Twix, Snickers, Milky Ways, 3 Musketeers, and Milk Way Midnights: if you want m&ms let me know I'll add it to the list)
Chupa Chups

Thats what I found... I know by personal experiance that these are the things we like... I will consider requests... just please let me know if there is something that I should add or something I should take out... please do this by pm. thank you!

And on to the next order of business...

Twilight Merch for Event...

Pins
Trading Cards
Key Chains

These things are expensive...

On the pins and Key Chains I will have an assortment... but only 3 different pins and 85 of each different pin, and only 5 different key chains and only 51 each of those key chains.

I will, later on, put these up.

I estimated the cost of the candy and twilight merch and there will be a little left over cash from it. Its not much... it's barely two dollars... like a 1.60 I think (per person that is... the total is about 400 dollars) .... and that will be put towards the raffel for the door prize which will remain a surprise... but it will be an assortment of things... I should be able to give two of those away but i am not sure yet. If any ideas on what could be in the door prize please pm me.

I need your opinions... not that any one ever looks at this... so this is a lost cause apparently... but I need to know, day event or night event...

Post your response here.

So I was thinking... maybe I'll make this a weekend thing... like... Friday night a Chicago Ghost Tour (Very limited ... i believe up to 36 people only) and then Saturday mid morning to afternoon could be a Baseball game and that evening could be the Ball. Or something like that.

What do you think?

Alright! Now I think I've got it all planned out!

We will have a twilight picnic instead (much more affordable!)

The ticket price would be 40.00 a person,

This includes

Location Rental and Permit Fee
Catering
Goodie Bag and Door Prizes (of a Twilight variety!)
DJ
And any equipment and rentals we need to acquire.

I am hoping to have this set up for this June or Next June. I am still ironing out the finer details.
