lol I don't think you've find much popular fanfiction is suitable for age 12, but you are welcome to scan the fanfction thread for possibilities. For signature you have to make the banner(if you want one) and then go to Control Panel at the top of the screen, then click the profile tab, then the left tab signature.

Thanks for responding to my post, Amanda Beth!

I'm really just looking for content for our blog that's not rated M or requires a reader to be over 18 to see it.

What kinds of content are you searching for?
You could run a contest of sorts, like the Novel Novice Twilight site does. Many of their fics might work for you. Have you been to their site?

Hi Openhome!

I'm looking for Twilight-related stories, poems, and other fan fiction that I can read and recommend on my blog. Also, I'm trying to post kid-friendly Twilight artwork on Saturdays (Kids at Play Saturday.) It's all just for fun--I don't really get enough visitors to have a serious writing competition.

Thanks for the recommendation to the Novel Novice Twilight site. They have some great stuff there! I'll have to spend more time looking around this site.

Also, I started reading your story "Singularity." Wow, great story so far! I happen to love Alice, and always wondered what her back story was. I will definitely read the rest of your stories when I have time.

Thanks again!

Alma-Marie wrote:Hi all,

I'm new to posting on forums, so I'm not sure what's the right place for my post. I just started a new family-friendly Twilight blog with my friend, and I'm looking for family-friendly Twilight artwork, fan fiction, and other blogs to link to my blog, as well other bloggers to chat with!

By the way, family-friendly means kid-friendly, or something that kids under 12 can read/view (My kids are also big fans of Twilight!)

If you'd like to see my Twilight blog, it's at http://www.twilightfamily.net. Let me know what you think!

Also, can anyone tell me how to make a pretty signature to add to my post?

Thanks,
Alma-Marie
Hey Alma,

For fanfiction:
I know you can search fanfiction.net for "K" ratings, just make sure to read everything before linking to it because not all people post within the appropriate rating. As well, what is family friendly to one, may not be to another.

There is also Twilighted.net and you can search for ratings of "G" and "PG". I personally do not post anything under PG-13 or "T" for teen because the books were meant for young adults.

I know our family has decided that while Twilight would be okay for our daughter to read and see, the rest of the books/movies are not appropriate. Therefore, she is not allowed to read any of them until she is 14. However, I still hope she will trust my word and take her time getting to, or altogether skip, Breaking Dawn. The thought of my daughter who has never married, been in an intimate relationship, or given birth (and can I just say thank god for that), having to deal with those themes gives me the eeby geebies!!

For fan art:
Try this website- they had some nice art.

Again, search by rating.

Good luck.

My new story is up. Would love your thoughts!!

What Drives Her:
AU: Edward left Forks after saving Bella from Tyler's van. His family followed several months later, leaving Bella and everything that would have happened after Chapter 4 of Twilight behind. Five years later their lives will intersect. Will Edward flee from Bella once again, or will he stick around to find out what drives her?

Thanks for reading. Ginnie

Virginia May,

You make a good point--the Twilight series is intended for young adults. While my kids are familiar with the general story, and I probably would allow them to read "Twilight" and see the movie, I would also recommend that they wait until they're older before reading the rest of the series.

I've noticed that a number of younger teen readers read the Twilight blogs and fan fiction, so I'd like to provide material on my blog that I can feel comfortable letting them read. It would be cool if some of those younger readers could even contribute to my blog!

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll take a look at that website!

Not quite sure where to post this but I suppose it could be interpreted as fanart.
My day job consists of working for a law school library. Every year we have an annual Marshmallow Peep diorama competition.
Please feel free to check out my submission

That was cute. It took me a minute to get it. The sparkly blue one was Edward of course! At first I couldn't tell what that was because the pipe cleaners he had for hair threw me, and I couldn't quite figure out why Bella was in the fountain, but it was so clever and creative! That is a fun competition, and a much better use of Peeps than actually eating them! LOL
