The Volturi have been the governing faction for over three thousand years, the coven that binds them all. The Guard that protects it. The Enforcers that abide and uphold law. Some love them, others hate and fear them. Beyond the world of the Cullens, another darker and less clear-cut world thrives. The lives and troubles of the true vampires lie here.

After the events in Forks, Washington with the Cullen "Family," the power of the oldest coven is called into question. The Enforcers and Guard are being stretched thin. The Vampire Wars threaten to resurface in Mexico. Children of the Moon are being found in Europe again. The Romanians threaten to form another army. Can Volterra afford such costs? The bonds are wearing thin.

We must not fail. Each member of the Volturi have their own reasonings for where they are. The alternative lifestyle of the Cullens is commonly known, but not followed by the majority. It is often veiwed as one might a Vegan. We may be darker, more fearsome, and bloodier but we are all in escence human. We all have a purpose in our long life. Love, revenge, power. Form your own coven or fight your way out of one.
